Kacie209:  My sister got the 2.0 for her wedding and they ended up returning it for the regular model. You have to use Kuerig brand cups in it OR cut the ring/rim off of store brand or any other brand cups.

That would be a huge no-go for me because I like to buy specific non-Kuerig brands of coffee like Starbucks and such or flavored store brand ones and, like you mentioned, hot chocolate. It literally will not run any other cups through it.

Kacie209:  I would stick with what you have. As PP said with the 2.0 you have to use Kuerig brand cups.  Honestly I bought a Kuerig this past spring and hate it.  Not worth the money and right now it is sitting at my parents place.  My parents were going to try it, if they like it they can keep it.

i don’t know much about kurigs since i don’t drink coffee.  but we did get one for our wedding. Darling Husband loves it.  we also bought the $15 kurig reuseable filter and you can put your own ground coffee it in.  so now Darling Husband making coffee is like 15 cents per cup instead of the expensive k-cups which i think are about $1 each.

I have a regular Keurig, and am intrigued the 2.0 for the carafe, but I think it’s too new. The off-brand cups and junk will probably take a while to get into the market.
