Looks like scrapbooking paper to me, can get heaps of it double sided and it’s usually a bit thicker so the folds would sit nicer.

@peachacid: Almost always comes in 12×12″ squares ๐Ÿ™‚

I’m a huge craft nerd so I have a little guillotine (sp?), I measure out the paper what size I want it and then chop away! Ensures straight, clean lines, because I am OCD and cannot handle anything crooked hahaha

@peachacid:  I made these for my bouquet! I actually used book paper for mine. Because of the gluing and folding involved, it was actually much easier to do with thinner paper (which was counterintuitive to what I originally thought.) So if you do get scrapbooking paper, try to not get too heavy of a card stock.

Also, yes, I had to cut mine to 3X3 squares. Which…incidentally, is the size of a post-it. So if you can find non-sticky colored post-it pads that are that size, that would work out great!

Otherwise, I bought this paper cutter from Michael’s: http://www.michaels.com/Fiskars%C2%AE-12-inch-Personal-Paper-Trimmer/sb1554,default,pd.html

Which was pretty cheap and has been helpful for other DIY projects.

Good luck! I think those flowers are beautiful.

I’m making mine out of book pages since I’m a book nerd. I put pearl beads in the middle and they will be my bm’s boquets. Mine will be a mix of these roses and tulips all made from book paper. The book paper turned out great which makes me think almost any paper would work great
