I don’t know anything about the times or cost but I’ve photographed a wedding at the Korean Bell in San Pedro. It has beautiful ocean views and overlooks Catalina. There’s not much info on the city’s webpage so you’ll have to call.

Hope This Helps 🙂

I’m not sure where exactly you want to hold your wedding but there are plenty of places on craigs list of all places. There are also quite a few places in moorpark.

You may want to just call a location scout and get a list of private homes that rent out their spaces for special events. Many beautiful estates in Palos Verdes, Pacific Palisades and Malibu do just that, and you can’t beat the privacy and intimacy of such a setting. Try http://www.planitlocations.com or google Los Angeles-area location scouts.

We are having a post-wedding celebration at the PV Interpretive Center. It’s an amazing deal. They start taking reservations for 2010 in Jan. You have to see the place to believe it.

it’s not exactly outside, but it is on the beach – Malibu West Beach Club. They let you marry on the deck, and Zuma beach is 6 houses away. The view is fantastic too!

I found renting a private residence to be exorbitantly priced. Malibu beach club is still pricey, but cheap compared to everywhere else in Malibu.

State parks and beaches take forever to get back to you.

Good luck!

check out the oviatt penthouse!  i think it’s perfect for the size of your wedding, and you bring in your own catering.

I’ve worked a few weddings at the Oviaott and it is a great space!

I’d also recommend this place:  http://www.marvimon.com

It’s got a very cool vibe and helpful staff.

Good luck!
