Ok LA Bees, now that so many of us are up for a meet up, we should decide where that will bee. My suggestion is in the West Hollywood area as I think that is centrally located. However, I’ve created a poll so we can have everyone vote for which area they think is best/most convenient. (If I forgot an area let me know).
PS. Married Bees are of course welcome!
PPS. I’m thinking we should do the meetup on a week night evening after work? Thoughts? Comments?

I’m on the westside but don’t mind driving wherever. Weeknights would be tough though. I don’t get out of work till after 7, then have to battle traffic from the west valley, and by that time all I want is to come home, eat and sleep. How about a weekend? Last meetup was on an early saturday evening, 6ish.

@meliss: Where in the west valley do you work? I work in woodland hills. weekend would be a good option as well. it would be fun to get as many girls to come out as possible so a weekend might make that more possible.

I’m in North Hollywood, so a weekend would probably be easier for me if we wanted to meet in West Hollywood (which I am totally cool with btw).
@meliss: and
@Meowkers: We’re so close!!! Yay for Valley girls!!!

I was chatting on Twitter with Mrs. French Bulldog just today about having another Socal meet-up! We thought it might be a good idea to try to do a meet-up at some sort of food truck event. This would be fun because people could get different kinds of foods (and not have to agree on one restaurant) and it would be an easy place for people to come and go if they needed to (a lot harder to do at a restaurant with a sit-down meal). Thoughts?

@kirabee: That sounds like a lot of fun! My only reservation is that I heard that the lines get really long and we could all be waiting in different lines for 45+ minutes before we could really sit down and chat.

I have to agree with J Dubbs. I too think it would be hard to sit and chat with everyone all over the place waiting in line for various trucks.

@Meowkers: I work in Calabasas, we’re pretty close!
@Soon2BMrsMiles: Sunday brunch sounds fun.
OK, unless I got something else major going on that day I’m game for whenever, wherever. I think I’m busy the weekend of Mar 5th for MIL’s birthday.

If we decide on West Hollywood, we can have it at Dominick’s for Brunch or “Sunday Supper” (only $15 for a three-course meal and/or $12 for a bottle of wine)
Their outdoor patio area would be a nice place for bees to socialize =)

@summer7911: I go to Sunday supper with friends quite often and love it there – it’s great for food but I don’t know how great it would be for conversation unless we got a reservation for a table in the back. I’m game for whatever works the best for the most people 🙂

@J Dubbs: I’m in North Hollywood too! (Well technically Valley Village but the same idea)
I also like the idea of a weekend. Sunday brunch would be fun
