I’m a fanal bride!! I get married in 6 weeks!  I bought a saison blanche sash to go with it to accentuate the natural waist, i have a tiny waist but big boobs and hips so I really wanted to emphasize my waist.  I’m accesorizing with crystal drop earrings, a crystal hair comb, cathedral length veil with crystals on it, and a bracelet.  Sounds like a lot but it isnt since the fanal is so simple, but stunning.  I’ll lose the veil for the reception.  Oh, almost forgot, I bought an off the shoulder ivory lace bolero to wear with it too.  When i first started looking for dresses I really wanted lace but the fanal was so perfect I couldnt pass it up.

I’m a Fanal bride too!! Love the Oyster color!! I’m still not sure what I’m going to do with accessories, but I have plenty of time to figure it out.

Funny Fanal story — My best friend came into town for dinner a couple of weeks ago and said she’d just bought her dress the day before. She whips out her phone to google some pictures and as she’s typing I ask, “Is it the La Sposa Fanal?”

“Yes! Do you know that dress?”

“It’s hanging in my bedroom right now.”

If only we were the same size, we could have split the cost!

I’m also a dress twin!

I fell in love with the “White One 411” when I started looking, but then found the “La Sposa Fanal” and it’s the same dress but with a longer train, which I love!

I’m relieved other brides still love this dress! I kept seeing 2008-2009 posts and started to worry I was going to be out-of-style. But La Sposa brought this dress back for 2012 probably because it’s so amazing!

I’m wearing a beaded and crystal belt, crystal bracelet, crystal earrings, 2 hair flowers with small crystals and a borrowed 1 tier elbow length veil. The necklace would be too much.

These are my shoes which I am so excited about!

FABULOUS PICK, ladies!!!

@lor_nn:

Your dress is gorgeous and you look great!

As far as accessories, I’d stick wiht one type of stone but with different textures. I have added a belt on my Fanal gown, and searched high and low for accessories with pearls crystals and beads like in the belt. Too much work and nothing matched. Keep it simple.

Here’s the earrings I bought… gorgeous but simple and they don’t clash with the intricate detailing of the belt.

(Swarovski Earrings, Megan Pierced Earrings)

Good Luck!

@asscherlover:  Ha! I know. A friend of mine who’s younger was appalled. I thought it was pretty funny. There is essentially no overlap in our guest list and it’s not like she could have known. We didn’t tell each other about our dresses until after we’d gotten them. And actually, I’m glad we didn’t because it was the dress she really wanted, and I would have been bummed if she didn’t get it because I also had it.

I just got done with my second fitting, and my bustle was almost finished (the decided to add one more button when I tried it on).  My seamstress put a bustle on the side so it kind of flowed with the dress, and I love it.  Here is a pic!

That’s a pic of me with the bolero, the bolero will only be on during the ceremony.  My parents are pretty traditional and I knew that it would be something my dad would appreciate and honestly, it’s lovely.  I love the lace and the off the shoulder look.  I really love the fanal and this look isnt my favorite that’s why the bolero is coming off!

The sash is a Saison Blanche sash that is absolutlely stunning.  The picture does not do it justice.

I have purchased drop earrings from etsy. and my hair wil be half up, half down with some curls.

@splendor:  I do like the bustle you posted, but I want a bustle that kind of matched with the style of the dress, not as structured, and didn’t look like a bustle.  Honestly, I don’t think you can go wrong with any bustle with the dress.  Every picture I have seen looks beautiful!

Hello Fanal brides!

Love your dress, mine isn’t too dissimilar and I’m interested in your sashes and veils. Care to post pictures and where you got them?

Thanks ladies!
