Hi ladies! Thought I’d post this here as well as in classifieds. I am looking for a pre loved Fanal in size 6-8-10 in the oyster colour. I have been admiring it for YEARS (literally) and it’s finally time to buy a dress:). I am monitoring all of the classifieds/pre owned websites but having trouble with brides getting back to me so I’m guessing they have been sold for the most part.

Thanks!

@MissDragonfly84:  I’m planning on selling mine after my Sept. 3 wedding.  It’s a size 8, with alterations for 5’6″ with shoes, 34B.  I haven’t been to the second fitting for the alterations yet, but if you’re interested, I can give you an update later.

Turns out I’m joioining the club! Found the dress in a shop nearby and they were by chance selling the next-to-new sample for $499:) It’s a 10 and I need a 6ish so alterations, here I come!

SO excited! I got that fuzzy, happy feeling when I put it on and knew it was the one. I will post pics after I pick it up:)

Hi all,

Ive finalized my choice and I’ll be going for the fanal! Yay! Ive tried on so many other dresses and I always seem to come back to the fanal. The dress I tried in was in oyster but I’ll be going for the ivory.. My family disapproved of the oyster colour 🙁

the prices for fanal here in Toronto, Canada seems to be averaging around $1150. I believe thats what I’ll be paying for mine.

I realized that if we want a belt to go with this dress, etsy.Com is the place to go. I’ve seen soooo many beautiful ones…

My last dilemma would be the bustling of the dress…

@di0rme:  I was set on the oyster colour based on what I saw in photos as I had never seen it in person. I ended up with the ivory because I purchased a new sample in the colour, but I also LOVED it when I saw it. It’s such a rich ivory and it photographs so beautifully.

I’m wearing La Sposa Fanal in ivory for a wedding next October in beautiful Santa Barbara.  Karla.r.mtz, I also wanted to wear a lace bolero and found this beautiful one below.  How does your bolero look with the dress?  I haven’t tried it on with the dress (it’s being ordered), and would need to order the bolero online.  I’d love to get a picture if you have any with the dress and bolero you ordered.

Also, I’m accesorizing with chandelier earrings here:

With my hair like this, with a simple magnolia or gardenia flower.  Not wearing a veil.

@karla.r.mtz:  nevermind! I just saw the bolero on you and it’s gorgeous! does it look odd without the sash/belt?

Sorry it took forever to respond!  I’ve posted a better pic. I tried it on without the sash and it was really elegant, I decided to keep the sash because I really wanted the bling element. The bolero you purchased is gorgeous!!!

LOVE the look of this dress with a lace jacket.  karla.r.mtz you have inspired me to wear one for at least the ceremony.

I really like the jackets from this etsy seller:

I probably won’t wear a full belt but I will add a rhinestone applique to one of the sides, simulating a pupolar Enzoani sash that is worn to one side for dramatic effect.

I wore mine for just the ceremony.  I wanted to wear it for the reception and take it off for dancing but it was so hot that day. Our venue had these huge garage doors (they open up and make the vanue “open air”) on two sides and I couldn’t deal with the extra layer!

@missdragonfly84, I bought my bolero from etsy too, not the same seller as the one you listed but that one is stunning too!

http://www.etsy.com/shop/alexbridal?ref=seller_info&atr_uid=0 – this is my seller.
