Thanks Karla! I saw mine off the wholesale website DH Gate; it’s half the cost as Etsy, although I love that website : )

Can any of you brides post more photos of your wedding day showing the dress accessories, hair, makeup all together? I keep coming back to this dress although I feel like I need to add some bling or a sash….maybe with all the right accessories i wouldnt need a sash? Thank you!!!

Oh how I love this post!

I have been so sure the Fanal dress was the one for me that I bought it on the internet without having the chance to try it on first: u really convinced me girls 😉

Well, I tried some other La Sposa/Pronovias models but the stores here in Guatemala don’t have the Fanal model.

I am so thrilled I took the risk!!!!

It’s in off-white.

Hi all. I’m having serious second thoughts on my dress.  I’m 4 1/2 months away s from my wedding and I feel like this dress is too formal. Did anyone get hot in theirs? My wedding is outdoors in California at the end of September. Thanks again.

@sarah_cate:  Hi! My wedding is in 5 months in Santa Barbara in the morning, and I do think this dress can be warm. It was warm each time I tried it on at the store. But it’s so beautiful and with the exception of a lace or sheath style dress, it’s common for wedding dresses to be warm.  A friend of mine suggested getting spanx or other shape wear so it helps wick away any heat, like performance athletic pants.  That’s my suggestion bc I think the dress is so beautiful and if you are having an afternoon/evening wedding it will cool down.  Good luck!

Here are some photos of my wedding day! Loved the bolero/jacket I used for the ceremony and I got so many compliments on my statement necklace for the reception. It was funny because I got just as many compliments from males as I did females! It was quite sparkly and eye catching and it was just a chance finding at my local Winners 🙂 I made my own two tier veil and it cost a total of $4. I highly recommend trying it out if you just want something simple with no bells and whistles like I did. It’s just tulle with no embelishmen sewed onto a hair comb. Lots of tutorials out there and super easy.

It was a downpour that day and the wind ruined my hair for the reception but I went with it because really, had no choice :p

I got my seamstress to turn it into a sweetheart neckline and had my last fitting 3 weeks before the wedding. It could have come in another inch or so because my job is quite physical (archaeologist-reason we cut our cake with a trowel!) and I lost a few pounds leading up to it but I didn’t fall down so I guess that’s not too bad! Some people actually thought I wore 2 different dresses but it’s clearly just an accessory change:)

Hello! I have ordered Tigris by Pronovias in oyster, which is similar to the fanal but has a shorter train. My dress arrives in November and I can’t wait! Just want to say a big thank you to everyone who has commented on this thread, you’ve given me some great ideas and inspiration. I will be getting the neckline on mine altered to a sweetheart shape and will be wearing a floor length lace trim veil in a champagne colour. Unsure about accessories yet but I’m thinking big blinging statement necklace. Also, if anyone is struggling to decide on shoes that will go with this dress, check out Rachel Simpson. I think shes based in the UK but you can order online. They are so beautiful and very comfortable!

I got married with my Fanal La Sposa dress! I am sending some pics with the veil and bolero I wore for church, as well as the side bustle
