@bissell  you look so incredibly beautiful!!! super flattering on your already fab figure

did you modify the neckline at all? I feel like it has more of a slight sweetheart than i remember from when I tried it on.

I’ve pretty much decided as of today that this is the dress I am going with. Even though there are many people on here (and a ton of other sites) who are raving about it, I still feel like it is so unique.

I’m also going to be adding this AMAZING belt that I tried it on with, when the sales lady added the belt, that was it. It is pretty simple, but makes it even more unique to me, since no one else will have it! I will try and post one of the pics of me trying it on here shortly.

I swear reading how much all of you ladies love this dress makes me love it even more!! I am literally ready to order tomorrow! SO excited!!

@organicgal- thanks for the compliments…you are too sweet!  I actually didn’t alter the dress at all.  The neckline was the original one πŸ™‚  I think adding the belt to add a little more uniqueness to your dress is a fab idea.  Please post pics when you get some!  You definitely will not regret this dress choice!  Sooo excited for you πŸ™‚

Hi littlemiss_carla,

I ordered this dress a few months ago now and have my first dress fitting in 3 weeks and I absolutely cant wait as I havnt even seen it since. When I found it, I was convinced I was not a ‘veil type of girl’  but the lady in the shop suggested I try one on and gave me a full length veil in a matching shade (my dress is in the oyster). As soon as I did, I loved it! It was about 4 inches longer than the train but when laid out properly looked really elegant. The veil was very plain and so still showed through the folds of fabric in the dress. I went from hateing the idea of a veil to loving it in one afternoon! I will post a photo after my fitting!

I dont think you can go wrong with this dress if you want timeless sophistication!

@arosie:  It should be satin. someone correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t think I am. Be careful!

Awesome, it worked! I love this dress! I finally ordered it last week, and my mom had already gone back to get the belt a week or so before. I’m definitely going to shorten the train a little, I’m getting married outside, and it is just a little long for my taste. The belt is just on a super long ribbon at the moment (you can tell in the 2nd pic) so I’m not quite sure how I’m going to do it but I have plenty of time!

Also, Bees – if you are still shopping for this dress, call a couple of places to compare prices! I found several places in less urban areas that were selling for a couple hundred dollars less than the place I originally tried it on at. Message me if you have questions or if you want to know specifics.

@leahouse: you are totally right on timeless sophistication! I’m doing oyster as well. The shadows form the fabric are a detail in itself. Love it!!

I just placed the order for my Fanal dress yesterday! I’m so excited especially after reading all of your posts! πŸ™‚

@organicgal: I am also getting a belt to wear with mine!  At the store, they got me to try it on with a belt similar to yours but it’s so expensive ($300) so I’m going to see if I can find one somewhere else for cheaper.

Aw you all look so beautiful in this dress πŸ™‚ Thanks for posting your pics!

As of Sunday I am also a La Sposa Fanal bride!!! I searched high and low for the perfect dress, and the bridal consultant at one of the stores picked this one out straightaway. Its’ perfect!!!

I’m also getting a beaded belt to accenuate the dress. I love bling!!! The belt at the bridal store was $350 and just too outrageous. I’m on a quest for the perfect belt now. I have a feeling that Etsy will end up winning out.

Any other suggestions on where to get beaded belts for this dress??

I’m in love with it and CANNOT wait to see it again πŸ™‚

@missL2B:I became a La Sposa Fanal bride on Sunday as well!!  I’m so excited about it, my bridal consultant picked it out for me too, she knew just what I was looking for!  I’m actually adding a little flower/feathery thing to the top of the dress to change it up a bit!  (posted below)  I cannot wait to wear it!

I also thought it was ridiculous for my little accent to be $150 so I’m looking at Etsy, I’ve found some things that look exactly like it.
