Hi everyone, I was wondering if anyone owns or knows someone that owns a simulant diamond ring from ‘lab diamonds direct’? We’ve only just started our search and have found a few companies with a style that we love. This is one company that there isn’t a lot out there about and I wondered what people thought? Thanks so much!!

You can try doing a search to see if anyone has posted in the past. 🙂 Also checking blogs and searching BBB would help if you wanted to find out more information about a company.

I think they are CZ’s…..the website never actually says what they are. I am guessing they are well cut, hand cut and hand polished CZ’s similar to the Signity CZ (which should not be that expensive). I think the settings are lovely but you are paying top dollar for the settings. If you want to spend that amount, I would go with an ASHA or a Wink CZ. The quality is great and Wink will heat the cz so it looks more natural in color. Just my opinion from what I have read…I dont know for sure.
edited to add: I was thinking of another company someone asked about. These appear to be either Signity Elite or ASHA stones which are cz’s with an outer layer of diamond coating. Compare the prices for these with the ASHA and Elite’s to see where you can get the best deal if that is the stone type youa re looking for. I personally think they are a good alternative to a mined diamond. If you want a natural mined diamond, however, there are deals to be had on ebay …I once picked up a Magic Glo .5 ct solitaire for 40o usd. When you search, clikc the box that says “used” and you will find some good deals from people who are looking for quick money. But, if a larger stone is what you want, I do think the diamond vapor coated stones are a viable option. Many people say you cannot tell unless it is held right next to a diamond of equal size, shape and quality. A jewelry can tell, but who cares???? We had a 1500.00 dollar budget and I was set for a wink, asha or elite, but lucked out and found a larger diamond for my price on ebay. Sometimes I wonder if I should have gone a different route but most of the time I am happy with my ring. It took a few trade ins and such for me to settle…..the overall size and look was important versus diamond quality, so yiu have to be sure what you want 🙂
