Date twin! Smile

I’m ok actually. I am working very part-time right now so lots of time to daydream and plan and look for internet deals.

I am planning from abroad, though, so I know the last month when I get to NY will be crazy. But I’m looking forward to the marathon crafting sessions at the last minute Cool

Date twin 🙂

I hadn’t really started freaking out until I realized how many things are currently half-finished.  I have too many projects that are like 75% done, but I need to motivate myself to finish them.  That’s one of my goals for this week.  Things like the guest book, centerpieces, display for placecards, and the music list.  My goal is to get all of them finished by Saturday so I can start off fresh next week and make the final push.  Sound good? Umm… I might need a sundae to motivate myself to get to Saturday.  Anyone wanna share?

Another Date Twin here!!

I am not freaking out yet. I was really nervous for the last few weeks because of the “unknown” guest list total. Since my deadline passed yesterday, I am way more at ease. Now I am just plugging away at the remaining details, hoping that I didn’t forget anything.

This weekend we have our final cake tasting and design review and also we meet with the DJ, then the florist the following weekend. It is all coming together and it feels great!

Oh, and I have not started my centerpieces yet… Whoops!

I know me too. I am trying to do a little bit of something everyday hoping that I can have some breathing room towards the end.

Oh my gosh!!! I didn’t really put it in perspective until hcritton put it in DAYS. Holy Crap!!!!! 36 days. That is unbelievable.

I’m at the point, where I’m relieved that it’s finally growing near – because I can’t WAIT to be wed…and also because I’m OVER the “something to plan/take care of/worry about” every night of the week. But I’m also thinking that I am in no way ready for this Event of the Century to happen. Yikes!

I have started the cleansing process — crossing off some of my original “crafty” projects that I’m now realizing I just don’t care about. It’s getting to that point!!!

Hope everyone else is doing well!!!! Any coping tips are VERY appreciated!

I made myself pick one day every week to NOT do anything wedding related.  It’s Friday for the time being.  We can go to dinner, go to a movie, play Wii – whatever it is, we do not discuss wedding, guest list, rehearsal dinner, none of it.

It really is a blessing to be able to spend time just us as a couple, and relax. Try it! You’ll like it!

I feel like I have a ton left to do, as well!  I still don’t have anything done for the ceremony!  No musicians, no readings picked yet!  I still haven’t finalized flowers, and while I do have a band, I haven’t put together a “must have” song list!  And I haven’t even thought about place cards.  Sadly, I’m probably still forgetting 10 things I still have to do!  And half of our guests haven’t booked hotel rooms yet!  I feel like they’re procrastinating as bad as I am.

Everything is slowly coming together!

It’s time for boring things like figuring out transportation for guests and arranging for the projector for the slide show… boo… haha.

I’d much rather be spending hours scouring the internet for table number ideas and other fun things. 😉 I can’t make a decision on any design element until I do hours of research…!!

We cannot WAIT. The faster it  comes the better! We went on a road trip yesterday and didn’t talk about the wedding at all! It was bliss. Such a happy day, and really was the break we needed before we submerge ourselves….lots of little stuff to do, but at least almost everything is purchased…we’ve been working so hard on trying to get everything paid for ,,,we’re paying for everything ourselves. But basically, all I feel right now is serious anticipation!!! We are SO excited for all our OOTs to get here, so we can get the party started….
