Hang in there! It can’t be much longer (and I’m sure you want to stab my eyes out for saying that) 😐

Baby is just making you earn that first meeting.

The good thing is that you might still be making progress even wthout regular contractions. And then when it is baby time, hopefully the rest will go quickly. I hope baby comes soon!

Hang in there! It sounds like you’re getting closer 🙂 Plus, any work your body does now is work it doesn’t have to do later. Your baby will be here before you know it.

Oh dear! You will be a week overdue on Sunday right? Poor little girly! I do not think you are gonna make it to a full week overdue labor sounds iminent but I am sending you labor dust jut the same. Did you have longer cycles or typically ovulate later than day 14? I know they say that can make your due date off so perhaps you are just a fee days behind based on that. I am 39 weeks on Sunday and I am so uncomfortable and ready For the end. I ovulated on day 15 so i kind of expect to go a day pr two late. I can only imagine how you are feeling. Hoping it is happening for you right now!

When does your hospital admit you? Mine considers 3-4cm dilated to be the magical threshold into active labour, even if contractions aren’t the uniform 3-5 minutes apart. My contractions never really got closer than 8-10 minutes apart, even when I was 3cm and 100% effaced.

Next time you feel contractions or stabbing feelings or whatever, I’d head to the hospital just in case.

@abbyful:  Poor Bunny! I hope tonights the night! Have you had a sweep or done any of that natural induction stuff? I am sure you have but it could help if you have not. Also I have read that it realy is best to wait till you are much more progressed in dilation and labor before going to the hospital anyway unless you want them to rush your labor and start interventions that can lead to pitocin or c-section. I hope the baby comes tonight! Is there a certain date your doctor will want to induce you at and have they checked on baby and placenta?

@abbyful:  yes get that sweep. It can’t hurt (i mean it might hurt a little physically but probably not as bad as waiting it out.) Sept 2nd is my due date. I do not think this is a September baby though. Your signs sound like your body is gearing up in a HUGE way. Now go get thee to a hill and climb climb climb! keep us posted on your beautiful baby!

@abbyful:  Sounds like labour will come soon….and being 3cm (at least, now) and 90% effaced is a great running start! You’ll have a nice quick labour! 🙂

Some things you could try (if you’re so inclined): homeopathic remedies, castor oil (not for the faint of heart, yuck!), sex (semen has hormones that can encourage labour).
