So I have begun covering a few votives with lace. im going for the completley covered look. I have a low temp glue gun. I did a sample last night and after about an hour the glue got hot, softened up again and the lace slid. any pointer? I am going to try the spary adhesive tonight but it seems like it may get messy. Thanks for any advice for this complete DIY gal.

I’ve been doing spray adhesive on mason jars (with tealights) and it’s been fine – but it sounds like my container is bigger/light is smaller.

@metalbride: try modge podge or elmers glue and water…or you could use the flameless candles, spray adhesive will mostlikely melt too. ohter wise try a higher temp glue for your glue gun.

What about glue dots? They come in different szes and are pretty sticky.
