Ok, I need some help. My dress is Maggie Sottero’s Georgina, and I’m in love with Jimmy Choo’s Isabel peep toe. My girls are wearing midnight navy blue dresses with pewter shoes, guys are wearing grey suits with navy ties. Ok, the dilema is: are the navy glitter JC’s too much to wear under my dress? Would it be better to go with the silver/champagne ones? I really like the idea of navy shoes, but it has been next to impossible to find a nice, good quality navy shoe with a 2-2.5″ heel!!

@Canadianbride2b: I’d definatly go with navy over champagn, especially if you don’t have your something blue. I’ve seen some really cool ones at Macy’s, I think they were Alfani or Nine West. You can always add some bling to them if you want (which I love doing to a lot of my shoes). Good luck!

No one will see the shoes.

If your dress is long, wear whatever you like; the shoes won’t be seen much anyway. And if you can’t find perfect navy shoes, consider dying some so you can have exactly what you like!

I say glitter navy shoes! those will look so cute in pics too if your photographer takes that common shot of the shoes of the bride while she holds her dress up and the shoes/socks of the groom while he pulls the pant legs up

I think it’s perfectly fine. In fact, I think navy glitter would be a better choice than sliver. The colours match and accent the wedding party so I say go for it!
I also wore a lace gown with glitter shoes. =) My shoes were closed-toe too!

I have serious foot issues, so I had a devil of a time trying to find a navy blue shoe that was cute and not flat:
