@PatientBride:  Justin Alexander 9704 is exactly that! The designers photos dont demonstrate just how sequiny and glittery it is, it’s absolutely breathtaking. And the back detail/racer back is detachable. I’m actually selling mine new since I changed my mind and got a non lace dress. am asking $1600 but will take offers, PM me if you wanted any other info 🙂

@PatientBride:  I almost bought the Jessie,if I recall if wasn’t to high over $2000. You might see if you can’t find it at a sample sale or something:)

@PatientBride:  Check out Mori Lee – there are so many dresses that fit what you’re looking for! These dresses are mostly in your price range too.

This is my dress, and I absolutely love it (I got it in ivory, not the gold shown on the site). For the sparkle it is more like sparkly beading than sequins, but it sparkles perfectly! Dress was around $1300 on the tag, but I got a discount for purchasing that day so it was $1000 instead.

My dress is Galina Signature from DB.  It has little pearls and sequins throughout.  The picture doesn’t capture how sparkly it is in person…  $1K

Ellis UK really needs to get it together with their online pics.

This dress has lots of lace and some sequins and is absolutely beautiful in person.   Unfortunately the photo kind of sucks.   $2300

@PatientBride:  I would track it down and try it on ASAP. It hadn’t even been fully zipped and the water works had already started.

Seconding Maggie Sottero Bernadette! Its not strapless, but its so sparkly (but not in-your-face bling), and it looks wonderful!
