Does anybody know of any good designers that make lace dresses with some boning/ corsetry built in to give you a bit of a shape?
Monique Llulheir have absolutely no support and make me look blah. I need a little bit of support!

Unfortunately, I think most lace dresses do not have boning in them because the bone would show through the lace, but I’m definitely no expert so I could be wrong. But, depending on the dress, you could probably get away with a bustier. I have an anne barge that’s a silk taffeta that has the bone in the dress, but I’m not sure if that designer has lace dresses. Do you have your heart set on lace? If you’re looking for a dress with built-in support, don’t be afraid to try on other dresses that you think aren’t your style. You may be surprised by what you end up liking.

My lace dress had a hook-and-eye corset built in which was then zipped under the lace. It gave me the waist I never had and the only undergarments I wore were underwear. My dress was by Demetrios.

WHat about Augusta Jones?
I have a dress of hers that I love and I think she is British. She has some beautiful lace dresses.

I just saw a Jacquelin (part of Christina Wu) that was lace with cups & boning on ebay.

All Justina McCaffrey dresses I tried on, including lace, had hook and eye corsets built into them.
