I am having a difficult time deciding between a lace or satin wedding dress. I am having an outdoor garden wedding and indoor reception at the Old Mill Inn and Spa.
Lace (with tulle) Mori Lee 1861 (but I would get ivory not gold):
Satin (with lace and organza) Impressions 10152:
I don’t have pictures of either of them on me (yet) but I did try them on and really like both. I am 5’4″ and curvy if that makes any difference to your decision. 🙂 Let me know which dress you prefer!

- Wedding: August 2013 - The Liberty House
I like the lace one, but I would go with whichever is lighter/won’t stick to your legs if you wedding is outside

@Trixsa: I voted lace only because I have tried on satin, i don’t like the material personally, it almost looks like a silver colour and I don’t like the idea of having to steam out the wrinkles…..personal opinion of course and I guess it all depends on the dress. I like the lace dress on these pics poster better. Good Luck

The first dress is SO classic and SO stunning!

@Trixsa: Lace is always gorgeous, while satin can look shiny and odd in photos sometimes.

Lace all the way! Satin looks so stiff and shiny to me. P.S. Love the 1st dress

Aw the Old Mill is lovely. I voted lace – I think it would be at home there

@Trixsa: I prefer satin… it just looks really glamorous but I am not so keen on the dress so chose the lace one.
