@cranraspberry:  Do you have a theme for your wedding or maybe a venue that one dress will fit with more than the other? That helped me narrow down the dresses. It’s okay to walk away and come back with a fresh mind. Maybe trying them on one more time will help you finalize your decision. I think youv’e got a really romantic look versus something a little more sassy. Although the lace dress still gives you a very sexy shape. Let us know what you decide to go with!

I think that the lace dress is better because it brings about complexity that the other dress doesn’t.  I found myself looking at the detail of the lace dress and seeing how it fits you.  I def think you should go for the lace one!

I’ll chime in for Taffeta! I saw the lace and was like ‘that’s pretty’ but once I scrolled down tafetta was ‘WOW’!

ETA: you’re also smiling in the tafetta! Did it feel better?! If so, that’s the one.

I love lace, but the neckline on that dress was not the most flattering. You obviously have a lovely slim figure, but the high neck really emphasises your collar bone, maybe too much.  The taffeta fit and flare was the opposite, it shows your figure and gives you some curves, just beautiful on you. I say go for that and wear a lace jacket for the ceremony. Best of both worlds!

@cranraspberry:  I also really love that taffeta on you! It makes your figure look va-va-voom! Also a younger vibe. I like the strapless – you have great shoulders for that. Good luck!

@cranraspberry:  I got a bit of a matronly vibe from the lace dress which is why I said that the taffeta looks younger. It might just be that you look so serious in the lace dress but are smiling in the taffeta dress.

I like the lace better, taffeta has a shine to it that makes it look stiff and cheap to me (but that’s just my personal perception of it).

I agree with the PP who said maybe you could go sweetheart and strapless with the lace and get the best of both worlds!

@cranraspberry:  Yeah, the taffeta is modern, beautiful, fun, and SO flattering on you. I think the lace is too… old? Outside perspective here says tafetta hands down but you really need to feel beautiful. Maybe the fact that you look happier in the tafetta is what put me over the edge. 🙂 Good luck in your decision and no matter what the Bee says wear what YOU feel beautiful in!

I personally think the taffeta is much more flattering than the lace. It’s gorgeous.

I’m usually not a fan of taffeta, but the second dress looks stunning on you and emphasizes your beautiful figure. The lace one is pretty, but the taffeta highlights your womanly curves 🙂
