Thanks so much girls! I feel more assured now knowing that the gap is acceptable! A local bridal studio saleslady did mention such a wide gap would typically mean the dress is too small. However this dress is unfortunately on the clearance rack and so there will be no alterations included. Fully agree on the modesty panel, was planning to purchase fabric to sew something on by nyself too! Thanks all for the suggestions and feedback!

Well I think it looks great, not sure how helpful that is. I LOVE the colour. So unique. And I love the soft but structured look of it. Such a beautiful dress!!

i think there should be fabric under the lace. yours looks wide because it doesn’t have fabric under it.

happykiwi: omg this dress is just stunning. I love love love the color. Idk anything about the corset back and what it shouls look like but this is absolutely gorgeous. Does the dress come with the matching piece so that your skin is not showing? I’ve seen them on dresses before it’s just a piece that covers your back.

The first dress is absolutely gorgeous, you look like a queen! Is it a reception dress or will you be wearing it the whole time?

vanessa1359: unfortunately it doesn’t come with a matching fabric, but i don’t think it’d be too difficult to find one of a similar color and sew it on myself!
@rmca: Thanks for your kind comments! Hmm I will primarily wear it the second half of the dinner banquet for the 2nd march-in (per local tradition), and also for a pre-wedding photoshoot in new zealand where i think this purple gown might be a better fit than the scarlet red one!
