i love the lace/ruffle combo on number one (be sure to get a price quote for the shortening to keep your budget!)

Ooo where is number 3 from?? Love #1, but you’d have to look at in person.  I wonder if shortening it would lose some of its appeal (aka. all the ruffles).

okay i’m going out on a limb and saying #2 maybe with the sleeves shortened if possible. 

Its pretty and romantic, and I do not think matronly looking at all.  And imagine with with some Red peeptoes…  and maybe a red sash (or whatever color you choose)  i think it would sass it up a bit.  But i really do like #2, its vintagy, and lacy, and romantic… and i do not think its matronly.

orrrrr, and you may not like this suggestion, maybe you could get a quote to shorten the dress you already have??? 

just a thought. (i know you said in another post you were going to sell it, but just thought I’d throw it out there)  It would still be pretty enough to sell when you are done.
