Has anyone used this tea? I was in the tea aisle of Whole Foods and it jumped out at me because of the name and it was only $3.50 so I threw it in my cart (impulse purchase much?) … so I got home and read a few reviews. Most of them seemed like it was positive, but there were quiet a few who experienced stomach cramping and other (grosser!) side effects. It warns that it contains Senna – which is a "natural laxative".
I’m thinking I’m not going to make the tea, but I’d be interested to see if anyone has used this before!

I also found it there and tried it once..let’s just say it helps "flush" you out. But if youre bloated after your period (as I was), it got rid of all the excess water. Was gentle imho. Not the greatest tasting either, but I put lemon and splenda in it.

I absolutely LOVE the tea!! It is very gentle, I drink some every night when I am in contest prep! A lot of times when you are dieting you arent getting the right nutrients to keep you regular.. by using a gentle aide like this tea it keeps you flushed out.. which honestly helps you lose weight easier (when your body is full of junk it doesnt perform its best)
I would definitely try the tea.. if you are worried about tummy cramps, be sure to follow the directions on the box.. its like 1 bag per 12 oz of water.. but you only drink six oz and save the rest… or something like that!

ooh, I just caught this post, and I’m definitely going to try it! I got addicted to tea when I was drinking it because of sickness, and now I drink 2-3 cups a day! I’ve also tried a detox diet and loved it…I think this would be great to try as well.
I don’t have a Whole Foods anywhere near me, do you know where else I could find it?

Do you have a GNC or Akins? They usually have it

Thanks for the advice ladies. I will definitely try it tonight. I am a bit nervous about the cramps, but I think I’m making it worse then it is!!

It is so random that you have this post on here because as my fiance is in bed and I am doing my late night "hiving" I am drinking a cup. Deff not an earl grey or english breakfast but like she said with lemon and splenda its good
I would deffinitely reccommend starting with a 10 oz cup and use one tea bag. I don’t really experience cramping with it but as you lower the ounces of water you use is DOES get stronger.
Only drink it at night and usually in the morning you will have to use the restroom. I usually drink it in the evening for 7 days once a month. It really helps flush the toxins out and help you feel fresh. Be advised that as the week goes on that you use the tea you may have to use the bathroom more often through out the day. Which means it is working.
Haha, think of it at a foaming drain cleaner. It will clean you out 🙂

I’m drinking it now … a little nervous about the morning! we shall see!

Senna is a potent herb!! I drink a "weight-loss" tea about once every 2 weeks for a cleanse. Really it’s not effective for weightloss, just water loss & excess waste.
Make sure that you clear your schedule for the following day… eek!
