Why is it that none of the Maggie Sottero Authorized dealers alow pictures. 🙁 I am all bummed because even though I ordered a dress now I have to wait like 6 months to see it agian. I mean I guess its not that big of a deal but it is still kinda of a bummer.

When I found a Maggie Sottero dress I was considering I would ask the sales associate a question I KNEW she’d have to leave the room to find the answer to and sneek and take the pic. My mother lives in Arizona and I’m in Maryland, there was no way I was not gonna take a picture to get her opinion. :o)

Wow! I didn’t know this about Maggie dealers. In fact I tried on Maggie’s at 3 different stores and was able to take pictures at all of them.
Which Maggie did you get?

The Geneva, honestly my situations kind of weird actually. I had went to several different shops and I ended up buying my dress from a different shop then the one I tried it on at, mainly bacause the other store wanted to charge me several hundred more then the set base price. But apparently the only maggie dealer in Seattle that let you take pics before you buy is the only one I didn’t get an appt with(I looked on their website after the fact)… The sales people blamed it on copywrite issues, but I really don’t see how you are suppose to decide on a dress without seeing yourself in pictures wearing it.

@Koolbeans621: Totally agree, how are you supposed to decide on, let alone remember, which dress you want after trying on several? It’s crazy and one of my biggest pet peeves that some shops don’t allow pictures to be taken. I went to one local shop where they actually had a sign posted, “No pictures – No sketching”- how crazy is that?
