I see shape girl. A belt would define your shape, so yes I would opt for one.

I think a sparkly belt would compliment the lace really well. Also, you do have a shape for sure, but a belt would help it stand out more.

I definitely see curves!!! A belt will help to accentuate that, so play around with some!

PS: nice coffee head! lol

Your dress is gorge and it looks beautiful! A thin belt would look pretty.

You have curves! Also, simple but most effective (just for pics, obviously):  pull your shoulders back. It opens up the ribs, pushes up your ladies and shows off the space to your waist.

nerk :  well you do have a shape. unless you’re literally one-dimensional, you have a shape. it just might not be as curvy as you’d like.

the issue is that you chose a very form fitting dress, which works best on curvy figures. for those who are straigher through the waist/hips, something with a fuller skirt (full aline or ballgown) tends to be very flattering, as it adds volume in contrast to your waist, making you look curvier. can you exchange your gown? adding a belt isn’t going to give your curves – it’s only going to break up the line of the dress and make you look shorter. “adding a belt” is one of the worst wedding-industry ideas in 95% of cases.

You look gorgeous. Try out a belt, and remember posture does wonders! (I was thinking ‘shoulders back!’ all day haha)

nerk :  ah :/ in that case, i’d go get a corset/waist trainer to go under your dress – it will make a difference! and i’m not talking spanx…those might smooth things a bit, but they don’t actually change your proportions at all – a good corset will literally squeeze your waist in and give you more of that hourglass figure you’re desiring. (and as for your butt – there is no such thing as a butt that is too big!!!)

You and I have a similar build- we are solid, strong-built women! I am wearing a belt for just that reason. If you don’t have one in mind already Amazon had some pretty pieces available. 🙂
