Lovely dress. I would go for a plain long veil with a lace edge ( a bit like Kate Middleton’s when she married P. Wills. Only not flat to the head  like she wore it  )

Im also very curious about this. I ordered an all lace fit and flare as well and am debating a raw edge veil, or finding a lace that doesnt clash.

victo:  I have a very similiar dress!  I am doing a plain veil with a lace edge, that has a little bit of bling in the lace…(excuse the size of the pic)

I made a blush cathedral length veil with rhinestones lining the edges. The rhinestones gradually increase in size the farther down the veil they are. I decided on rhinestones over lace because I didn’t want the lace to clash with the lace on my dress…and because I’m a sucker for sparkle 😉

It is very hard to take a picture of yourself, by yourself, with such a long veil! This is with the dress pre-alterations, it needs to be shortened.

Some detail of the veil itself, you can see the blush color better here.

Front of veil, you can see the baby rhinestones up closer to my head.

Hope this helps!

victo:  I went with a cathedral veil for my dress. It’s not a mermaid, but I think cathedral veils suit dresses across the board. It’s rather long, but it’ll be hustled just right for the reception.

Personally, as beautiful as they are, I’m not a fan of lace edged veils with full lace dresses. They just end up blending in from the back, and front the front, it’s looks too much like a ‘frame’. I’d definitely go plain full length so it drags with the train of your dress.

I have a full lace dress as well and im going with a pencil edge veil either cathedral or royal lengt (i have to calculate what is best) and with crystals on the pencil edge. I went to 2 shops stocking my dress and both advised a non lace veil because it will be too much!

Omg a cathedral veil! Either plain raw cut edge or lace trimmed 🙂 I also have a lace mermaid and that’s what I’m going with
