(Closed) Ladies D+…where did you get your wedding undergarments?

I ordered this longline corset-style bra from David’s Bridal to wear under my wedding gown. I actually just wore it two weeks ago under a dress with an illusion neckline to test it out. I can honestly say it’s the only strapless bra I’ve ever worn in my 28 years of life that’s managed to hold up my 34DD’s without it trying to slide down to my waist all day long.  I didn’t have to adjust it or pull it up once.  And, it’s specially designed for low back dresses, so it didn’t show in the back. I can see myself wearing it a lot more than just under my wedding gown!

Posting to check up on later.

I’m desperately in need of undergarments – when I went to david’s bridal, they shoved me into a C cup [normally a DD/DDD].

I purchased mine from Figleaves.com, and I loved them.  For my stepdaughter’s wedding last year, I ordered a beautiful, long-line bra from Bravissimo.com.

@orchidblooms:  I swear by Bravissimo. They are a great site that only work with women D+ and it’s the only place I buy bras any more. While I don’t think any of their bras are low back, they sell low back converter clips that turn any bra into a ‘low back’ bra.

Just as an FYI, they are an entirely European based company, so shipping takes 7-10 days. If you order through them, just make sure to leave yourself enough time.

Intimacy, Intimacy, Intimacy.  It’s the only store where I’ll even attempt to buy a bra (all my bras, not just for the wedding).  I’m a 36 F (G in sports bras), and I refuse to order online because you can’t try them on first.  Intimacy has the greatest bra fitters and carries a TON of different brands.

I purchased from Bare Necessities (in store) and they also have a great online selection. If I were you, I would search for a local specialty lingerie shop (not a chain like VS) and see what they have to offer.

Hi, I got mine on Ebay. It’s a Le Mystere 4556 Soiree Short Line Bustier. It has a low back and I tried it the other week and worked brilliantly for my 32Es. PS they go al the way to a G cup from memory.

I’m going to a local bra shop to have one built. I usually use figleaves or ebay since 30d bras can be had from england easily particularly wonderbras and nice calvin klein ones. I want my wedding undergarments to fit perfect though so I will have a specialist cut/make them for me. Being a tiny ribcage with a cupsize thats a little unproportionate to it can be a real pain to make right.

I’ve heard wonderful things about FigLeaves, but my dress had an internal corset, so I didn’t have to wear anything.

32DDD here and I just had cups sewn it. Worked perfectly!
