I’m eager to pee on a stick, but still have a full week yet. Ahh, two week wait is tough!

@KansasPrincess11: I’m 7 DPO if my calendar is correct. I’m not charting, but am doing the calendar and got a strong OPK on the Wednesday before our trip last week, ovulation was projected at last Friday.

ETA: My body’s been doing strange things since last week with crazy nausea not long after a stretch of BD, some cramping, and heavy feeling boobs with sensitive nipples. So weird, not used to this.

@brox: I hate waiting. TTC sucks for impatient people.  πŸ™‚

@KansasPrincess11: I’ve been off of the pill since June. My cycles have been regular at 26-27 days, damn near clockwork. We BD’ed lots leading up to the most fertile time period according to the calendar’s instruction. Friends of ours got pregnant on calendar alone. They’re our TTC inspiration and support.

@jaguar: Seriously, I’m totally impatient to know what my body’s doing right now. If it isn’t our month, I’m having a big glass of wine next weekend.

Tonight’s taco night! Why does that excite me? My mom alwasy craved tacos when pregnant with us kids….so taco night cheers me up and makes me think: BABIES!

I hope i’m not too into tacos when I’m pregnant though: They aren’t the healthiest things in the whole world…

@brox: I’m not a big drinker but I am DEFINITELY one to indulge in a few wines when the time is right. Hubs & I are having a date night IN tonight. A few wii games, a movie & cracking open the wedding night champagne we never got around to drinking! πŸ™‚

@LoveliestLove: Mmmmm TACOS. Love.

Hi ladies, sorry, I sort of fell off the bandwagon in terms of posting on the last thread but I was checking in regularly to see what’s going on.

@jaguar:  I’m sorry your cycle has been so uncooperative this month!  Here’s hoping that it gets itself back on track – your last cycle was so good so hopefully this is just a little fluke before it all sorts itself out again!

@KansasPrincess11  I’m with you – I sort of want to be charting just so I know what exactly is going on, but then again, I think it would become all-consuming and I don’t want to go there just yet.  We’re not even exactly TTC yet but I just really, really want to know exactly what is happening every step of the way.  πŸ™‚

And on the TTC note, Darling Husband and I are re-evaluating our plans for when we want to TTC.  We originally said after the new year.  Shortly thereafter, we thought October sounded better.  Then Darling Husband found out his next engineering project is going to be in Gladstone (Jaguar you can understand this one – Gladstone, QLD – home of the major mining boom and the industrial capital of Aus, ugh!)  Job prospects for me aren’t great there, so we thought maybe we’d try now.  Then we decided that we want to visit family in the UK in June so we need to try and time it so I’m not too far along when we want to visit.  So now we’re back to after new year!  Anyone else constantly switching around their TTC dates?!

Oh and Jaguar – I’m with you, bring back winter already!!  We’re already hitting the 30s here in Brissy!  Way. Too. Hot.  At least tomorrow is a beach day but I miss winter already.

I am not actually TTC but I just wanted to drop in and say that I am in awe at how much strategy is involved in TTC! I never knew about all this ( was reading parts of the other thread). Good luck ladies πŸ˜€
