my bridesmaids are using eshakti.com as well!! We are doing teal dresses, and i let them each pick one that they liked, since the fabric is the same! They are re-wearable and not too expensive. I am going to get them all shawl’s to wear during the ceremony- we haven’t ordered and yet, but so far the site seems awesome! They are also customizable 🙂 Good Luck!

My Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses were $119, I didn’t want them to pay a lot of money on a dress.

My Bm dresses were from David’s Bridal, and they were $30 each-so I bought them!

Be creative, you can find them!

Mine cost $145, originally I wanted them to be less but I bought them from a regular store and they don’t require much for alterations (just needs to be shortened for 2 of the shorter girls). They’re nice quality so everything seems ok.

Short answer: too much!

Long answer: I wanted to find Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses in cobalt blue for around £50 (75 USD). It wasn’t happening. Finally found nice ones, but they came with a £100 (150 USD) price tag. Haggled, and got them down to £75 each, provided I bought four… so not too far from your 100 USD target. You will find them, but don’t shop at any proper bridesmaid’s shops, and avoid ranges marked “bridal”… they overcharge a LOT!

RENT THE RUNWAY!!!!  I rented my bridesmaid dress for a wedding last November and it as amazing.  Spent less than $100, fit like a dream and I got to mail it back after the wedding without a care in the world.  I’ve been a bridesmaid many times and this is my favorite new find.  I hate that I have a collection of pricey dresses I’ll never wear again.  This of course works best if your sister is okay with them not all matching.

Give the girls the color and the length and let them pick out something in their budget that flatters their figure best.  RTR sends you two sizes and the customer support is awesome and very helpful!

Mine were $250 each.. same colour, fabric and designer and the girls chose the style they wanted. All of the above look so lovely but so well priced! Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses sound a lot cheaper in the US compared to Australia, I paid $480 for the last wedding I was in, and $310 for one this year

Mine were $119 from Davids. I tried to stay under $100 for my girls but it was hard. So I told them I wasnt picking out shoes they can wear any silver shoes hoping that they found some at a good deal.

I also paid $220 for a bm dress I was in last year and was frustrated that it was so high because we had to travel for this wedding, flights and hotels. I didnt say anything to the bride but I just thought asking us to travel AND buy the expensive dress was a bit much and maybe we could have found cheaper dresses. Just my opinion though.

All of the ones we looked at were $200-$300. Which I thought was too high but my Maid/Matron of Honor loved it and said it wasn’t a lot to ask them to buy. They all love the dress and say it’s well made and flattering and they’ll wear it again. It’s a Watters dress.

I really wanted to find some that were closer to $100, but even at David’s Bridal, they were $150. It’s crazy. I ended up choosing one for $150.

@LALaw:  The dresses for my BMs were $129.99, but you’re in Los Angeles (I am too!!!) go spend a day in the fashion district. You’ll find TONS of dresses for $100 or less.
