Okay okay so i purchased my dress a month or two ago and somehow when purchasing it was suckered into buying a veil as well..however i had never really thought about wearing a veil
esp. one such as the one i got.. I ended up with a veil adorned randomly with pearls and while it is a BEAUTIFUL veil i just feel its very much not my style nor do i feel like it goes with my super casual dress..
I’ve been toying with the idea of a birdcage veil and would love one, what are your opinions ladie, heres a picture of my dress as well as veil.

I think you should have what you really like. As long as getting the birdcage doesn’t break the bank (and you can sell the other veil), I say go for it.
However- I do think the veil with the pearls could totally look great with your dress.

You could get a birdcage veil and wear it for the reception, and keep your current veil for the ceremony. I do think it would look lovely with your dress.

Go with a birdcage! I personally love the long veil style (as pictured with your dress) but if birdcage is your style, then definitely go for it. You can always sell it in the Classifieds if you change your mind!
I love the sweetheart neckline on your dress!

I love the look of your long veil, but if it isn’t going to make you happy….

I like traditional veils but thats just me. I despise the look of the birdcage- I know, Gasp! Blasphemy!

I think you should get the veil that you love. What does it mean to wear a veil just because you’ll feel it was a waste of money if you don’t? this is your wedding. Pictures video, memories. What’s an extra veil? Let it go and get what you want. You won’t regret it.

i agree, go with the bride "look" that you’ve always dreamed of.. if that includes a birdcage veil then go for it!! don’t worry about the other veil!

you only get married once so go for what you want and not what you were talked into getting!

I purchased my birdcage veil on etsy for only $25. It’s your wedding, do what makes you happy!

If the veil you have is not your style, then sell it and go for one you really want! You don’t want to look back on your wedding and wonder "What the heck was I thinking? It’s so not me!"

Go with your gut! Obviously a birdcage is more your style!
