- Wedding: June 2011
… I’ve struggled with.
Bridal Party entered church to: Trumpet Voluntaire. (On Piano)
I entered to: Canon in D (Played on Piano)
First Dance: Today by Joshua Radin
Father/Daughter Dance: Melissa by the Allman Brothers
Garter Toss: Girls by The Beastie Boys
Boquet Toss: One Way by Blondie
Signature Drink: Melissa’s Blushing Bride Martini which was a martini glass with Triple X in it, and rimmed with pink sugar
Food: A duet plate so we didn’t have to worry about keeping track of different selections. It included a 6oz chicken breast a la florentine and a 6oz filet.
Assigned tables, but not seats, a seating chart rather than place cards. (Other than vegetarians, who had a green place card indicating a vegetarian meal)
OUT OF TOWN BAGS:
Included: 2 bottles of water, homemade soap bar, out of town booklet, custom do not disturb door hanger, bag of cheetos (my fave), an energy bar (his fave), lists of things to do, places to eat, little puzzles to do and a CD of our favorite songs.
Mini Moon in Chicago this week, and an actual honeymoon in Punta Cana in February. (Wisconsin winters will make this very needed)
Coach wristletts and a necklace to wear with their dresses on the day of.
We will be making books off of Blurb.com filled with pictures, notes, quotes.
30 ivory paper lanterns above dance floor and lots of flowers.
THINGS BOUGHT OFF OF ETSY:
Veil (I HIGHLY recommend it, I was so happy with the seller)
Not on risers, running down the center of the room.
All of you ladies have helped me SO much, I thought I would show you all the decisions I made that you helped me with. Thanks girls for being such a help. It was perfect.
