I’m 29 but will be 30 when I get married. So far I’m thinking no. But ehhh it could change. Not sure if I’m a veil person.

I am going to be 19 turning 20 when I get married (so I’m obviously not in my 30s) but I’ve never heard of this! I am probably not going to be wearing a veil, but it’s not because of something like age, it’s because I have glasses and I feel like a veil + glasses would be too much on my face! Lol.

One of the benefit of being in your 30ies as a bride you can choose the traditions that you like and toss the ones that you don’t 😉 If you love the veil, go for it even if you are 70 🙂

I was 34 and didn’t have a veil. I chose not to have one because of what it represents not because I am older. We walked down the isle together as a couple to meet the officiant and I wanted to be very natural looking.

No. My wedding is outdoors in a graden setting and it seems silly to wear a veil. Besides, it feels like a Catholic tradition. Nothing wrong with being Catholic or traditional — it’s just not me.

I want my full line of vision to be unencumbered so I can see all my loved ones and, most importantly, my husband to be as I walk down the isle. I’m choosing to wear flowers in my hair.

I waited a very long time for God’s plan to unfold in my life. I was in my mid forties when I finally met the right guy and became a bride. I not only wore a veil but also a blusher.

Anyone who has watched any wedding shows should know the veil makes the bride!  I am wearing a veil.  I didn’t want to at first, but it was my mom’s one request.  After trying them on though, I really like he look of a low veil and willprobably go with fingertip length.

Couldn’t disagree more. The loving look between a bride and groom makes the bride as beautiful and stunning as she is. I plan on having nothing in the way of my face so all can see how happy we are as I walk toward him up the isle.

I’ll be 33 when I walk down the aisle. This is my first marriage so I’m doing it all as I’ve always dreamed it: cathedral veil and my dad will walk me down the aisle. Who cares what people think. I’m also an unwed mother who will be wearing white (GASP).

Wear what you want!  A veil tacky if over 30?  What silliness!

I’m sure some would scoff at my personal choice… a hippyish head wreath of flowers.  What am I, a blushing 19 year old?  But to heck with it, I like flower wreaths, and I don’t really care to wear a veil, so that’s what I’m wearing. Wink

I wore a veil and wouldn’t have had it any other way.

I’ll be 32 when I get married and I plan on wearing a veil.  If I didn’t it would be because it didn’t go with my dress or hairstyle.  The way someone said wearing a veil is “tacky” if you are in your 30s makes 30 sound old.  I don’t know about y’all but I DO NOT feel old!!!
