It’s none of anyone elses business about whether you are too old to wear a veil, you do what you feel comfortable with! I wasn’t even aware that ladies over 30 were not supposed to wear veils! That being said, I won’t be wearing one and I’m 31, but this was my personal choice not to bother with one, not because of my age.

I’ll be 31 when we say “I Do!” and I am buying the longest cathedral veil I can find.  But that is just me I love the veil.  I tried a blusher and felt sufficated so that won’t be happening on my wedding day.  I think people give their opinions because they think they know better than us, maybe because we are the “Later in Life” brides and are the last ones to join in wedded bliss!  I haven’t figured it out yet but I do know that as long as what you choose makes you happy that is all that matters!!

I take back what I said, I ended up wearing a very short and simple veil on my wedding day a few days ago, because I was doing my own hair I wanted to wear it just in case I hadn’t got the back of my hair right! It worked out well and looked good. Still don’t see the problem with age!

I’m 31 and will be wearing a veil, it’s our first wedding.  What does age have to do with it?

I’m 32, and will probably be 33 or 34 when we marry. I am planning to wear a veil. It’s my first wedding — why should I miss out just because I waited for the right person?

I’ve never heard of veils being attached to age?? I’m 32 and will be wearing a finger tip veil with intermittent lace trim to our Destination Wedding in Maui. My Fiance is Spanish- my lace dress and matching veil add a Spanish flair I think:)

I’ll be 31 when we get married, and I will definitely wear a veil. To be honest I don’t feel like ‘a bride in her 30s’ – and all the connotations that go with that. I don’t think I look my age, and a veil (likely chapel length with blusher, with Chantilly lace applique) will pull my whole bridal look together. Plus my dad is really looking forward to raising the blusher off my face, I think.

You can do what ever you want!!! I am wearing a veil because there is a traditional veiling ceremony in the Jewish wedding. 🙂 Oh and I’ll be 32 shortly after the wedding!
