DO NOT PROPOSE WITH THE CAR. That is not romantic in the slightest. The bench idea is adorable! Do that, and then give her the car like a month later.

I’m with the rest… leave the car out if it. I’d also skip the blindfold. Much more romantic and less obvious to come across the bench and spot the writing, turn around and see you kneeling there.

This all screams “My Super Sweet Sixteen” to me.  Definitely skip the car-  do that on another day.  The bench is very cute, but I agree with pp in skipping the blindfold and walking to it more organically.

Keep the car separate from the proposal for sure. In my opinion it should just be about you asking her to marry you. Don’t overkill and gild the lily. Make it a tender moment about wanting a future together not about gifts.

The bench is a wonderful idea on it’s own. It’s romantic and sweet. A lovely place to visit on anniversaries and picnics.

I agree with PP, I’d skip the car for the actual proposal. Maybe plan a weekend roadtrip for you two a few weeks after you propose and present the car to her before you leave on the trip.

I’d also hire a professional photographer to capture the proposal. Keep it simple and heartfelt. The bench idea is amazing, but don’t overdo it with decorations on the bench.

I agree, take the car out of the eqation (maybe save it for when you get home so it’s not so much associated with the proposal? I know it’s a hard thing to hide). Also, in my opinion blindfolding a woman in a park straddles the line between scary and romantic, unless she’s into that 😉

I agree with saving the car for later. Let the bench proposal stand alone in all its ADORABLE ROMANTIC GLORY!
