@ItsPronounced_ABear: Your dress was actually the second dress that I tried on! I liked it, but it didn’t look nearly as good on me as it does on you!! Beautiful Dress!!

Wal mart?? Wow, never heard of DB being compared to that! However, I like a previous post where somebody said whoever calls these dresses trash must be trash themselves…  I had an amazing experience with Davids Bridal.  I started looking at dresses when I got engaged over a  year ago and I had my eyes on my dress! I finally went to try it on and I LOVED It!!   I cant post it because I am at work and dont have any pictures on this computer but this is my dres…

I had a 1500$ dress budget and fell in LOVE with a DB dress that was 449! Helloooooooo I would have paid anything for it! I love it so much, I just purchased it on Saturday! Dont want to post a pic b/c I think my fiance sneaks around on here πŸ˜‰ I love davids, I went there 3 times and had a wonderful experience!

I dont know where this walmart thing came from. If I had to compare it to any store I would say Dillards. Its really similar to a department store. And who says that? Really!?

These dresses are lovely! Nothing trailer-park about them at all! To me, trailer park would be some Ebay-purchased, yellowed 1980s affair. These are all pretty high fashion looking to me. (Besides, there’s not necessarily anything wrong with trailer parks anyways. I know one couple that lived in one so that they could pay cash for the $250,000 home they were having built in the countryside….)

In fact, the ONLY reason I didn’t end up buying from David’s is that just about EVERYONE in my area buys from there, and I didn’t want the same dress that one of my friends or coworkers or cousins had already worn.

All of you ladies look amazing & they are BEAUTIFUL dresses!  My problem with the David’s Bridal near me was the staff.  I had an appointment and waited over an hour to get help.  When a consultant did finally help me she stopped about ten minutes into our appointment and let someone else continue with the appointment so she could go on break.  I am all for taking a break but after waiting an hour I would have rather waited ten minutes more and had the same person rather than having to tell another person what I was hoping for.  My other problem with my David’s Bridal was the lady I worked with had no idea how to recommend dresses that would look good on me.  I am 5’5 and about 145lbs but I have a very large ribcage that makes fitting difficult.  I was hoping they could recommend some dresses that would fit my ribcage and not make me look overly chesty.  Instead–the dresses she recommended and I tried on looked terrible.  Cleavage is one thing but what she recommended was flat out unflattering and bordered on inappropriate.  I was so down when I left.  By the time I got to the appointment I had at a very nice bridal salon in Peachtree City, Ga…I was depending on them to know their stuff and help me look as good as I can in a dress. I was blown away by the amazing fit and price of the Maggie Sottero dresses.  Some of them were cheaper than the dresses in David’s Bridal.   I realize my experience is obviously just from my shop but it was enough to make me not want to go back to that particular store for my bridesmaid dresses.  I will either get them from the shop where I bought my dress or another David’s Bridal.

Here is the one that I got from DB, but I didn’t wear because I ended up falling in love with a lace dress I wanted way more (of course, I kept looking after I bought the dress!). Its a size 10, NWT and I also have a crinoline that I bought after the fact. if anyone wants to buy, PM me!!!
