My e-ring that i picked out isn’t a ruby, but it is my birthstone and I absolutely love rubies. I have a ring(pictured below) that was my great grandmothers and I wear it everyday. When I get engaged Im most likely going to switch it to my right hand but will probably have to get it resized because that finger is bigger than my ring finger(is that hard to do?) Share pics of your favorite ruby jewlrey! I definetely want to add more rubies to my jewlrey collection in the future!

Apologies for the size. I’m actually a guy and just collected this today from the jeweller. Had created a profile in case I needed help on here or Pricescope.
Will propose hopefully to my girlfriend later this month. Fingers crossed she likes it as she hasn’t had any input other than wanting a ruby.
Ruby pictured is ethically sourced from Mozambique, 6.5mm and in an 18 carat fairtrade gold setting.
Also OP, can’t see the picture of your grandmother’s ring in your post?

I try not to post pictures of my ring constantly, but people keep asking for rubies and I can’t help it!

My ruby ring. It is small, I believe around 1 carat, but I love the color, especially outside.

These rubies all have unbelievable colour.
Here’s a picture of the actual ruby that didn’t show up in the first post:

pcng3 : wow, your post was what I came across in my own research for ruby rings and it was of great help! I remember you were picking out stones and CAD design back then, good to see that the ring is here now! I ended up buying Mozambique rubies too.
lovelyruby : Always loved your ring, and it helped my decision to choose a ruby engagement ring myself.
lollipoppins : A Burmese ruby of this color is to die for
And OP here is my eternity band and engagement ring:

wanamaker : That’s a beautiful ring. Yes there is nothing quite like the gemstone knowledge of the pricescope community to lead you to ask the right questions/make the right considerations.
Did you find it difficult to find 3 rubies of similar size/colour to make your ring up?

gray15 : i initially wanted to use my mom’s Burmese ruby in the engagement ring, but the jeweler couldn’t find a perfect match. So they set it in a necklace for me,
and here’s the ring 😍 ( I feel like I keep spamming it everywhere on this site, but I’ve had it only a few days, and I’m obsessed 😂)
