I only wear my wedding band. Love my engagement ring but I always knew that I’d only want to wear my band, it matches my husband’s and I love that. πŸ˜„

A lot of times I wear just one ring for comfort be it a wedding band or one of my engagement style rings. I live in the humid South so sometimes in the heat I swell. I’ve never been asked if I was engaged or married. I think any ring on the left ring finger denotes taken.

Can we see a pic of your 3 stone? I bet it’s really pretty! I love 3 stones and if you find it substantial by itself then you can wear just that.

There are no rules to wearing jewelry. You do what feels right and comfortable for you. Some bees can wear stacks for days while others prefer one ring and some even prefer no rings. All of our older married friends (think 60+yr olds) don’t even wear rings anymore, only one wears a set of 2 bands on each hand. They aren’t any less married with or without rings.

Personally I would like to wear one ring someday and have a custom designed graduated seven stone bezel band in mind.

Early congrats and I hope you’ll come back and share what you’ve decided to do 😊

I have both but I’ve mainly worn them separate so far — mainly because my fingers were too swelly to wear both while I was pregnant and now that baby’s here, I’m too afraid to scratch him up with my engagement ring, so I just wear my wedding band. I’ve never felt strange wearing just one of them.

I can’t stand having things on my hands, so it was always going to be just one ring for me. My mother is the same way. I doubt people will say anything, any sort of ring on the left ring finger signifies being committed and people usually don’t ask beyond that.

redearthlady :  Hahaha, here it is! Not the best pic for its sparkle, but you get the idea!

I will not be getting a wedding band, I’ll just wear the e-ring.

I’ll be wearing my rings seperately majority of the time. Either putting my wedding band on my right hand and my engagement on my left, or just wearing one or the other on the left finger! Do what feels right for you!

vegas62218 :  I think it looks great alone. Its low profile so it’s very band-like! I say rock it alone!

TheGridMonster :  I live your Cartier band. It looks very delicate alone!

I will be getting a single ring. It has been made and I will get it when we get married.

It’s a completely non traditional ring anyway, so I dont think anyone will be expecting me to wear another ring with it.
