vegas62218 :  we are also older and this isn’t our first rodeo. I never wanted an engagement ring, I like the look of one larger ring (which is my wedding ring).  It would be hard to wear another ring with it and I think it would take away from the look of the ring.

I think your ring is lovely and unusual. You could wear that as a single ring and rock it!

I just wear my Engagement Ring, I don’t like how the band looks with it, I prefer my ring alone ๐Ÿ˜†

I just have one ring. My now-husband proposed with it but then I didn’t start wearing it until he gave me it again at the wedding. It’s very untraditional and doesn’t have any stones but it’s very me!

vegas62218 :  I feel like that would look good with the simplest wire band.

I am getting a delicate diamond 3/4 eternity and wearing my Ering alone mostly with the band on my right finger or just the band standalone on my left for days I don’t want to wear my ering. My ering is a triple shank so it has a lot going on and just looks better by itself I decided.

Very nice ring looks good on it its own or maybe you could do a simple 2 mm band either way i think as long as you have a ring on that finger it generally means taken or spoken for . it seems things are far less *tradtional” then what our parents or grandparents did with their rings . congrats and enjoy .

redearthlady :  Thank you!! I never thought I’d like something so dainty on its own, but I love it. ๐Ÿ˜Š

vegas62218 :  I LOVE your ring! I think it looks great on it’s own. There are no rules.

I’ve been married almost 9 years. For a very long time, I only wore one ring, because it wasn’t comfortable to wear two (short tapered fingers) and nothing I paired with my engagement ring looked “right.” I finally came across a band I love and wear it as a set all the time now

OP I LOVE your three stone ring!  I do think it would look really lovely with a simple wedding band if you did ever end up wanting the look of a “set”, but agree that because it is low profile it is sort of band like already and looks beautiful on its own.  A good friend of mine has a three stone ring she wears alone and says she loves that it has 3 stones that represent the past, present and future.  I love that sentinment!

vegas62218 :  Thank you! I kept staring at the band on the Zales website for over a year and finally pulled the trigger when a great sale combined with  a $50 off coupon code came around. I was surprised and RELIEVED they went together so well! The curve makes it super comfortable too (and added bonus that it looks good on its own, imo!)

FWIW, Etsy has some great curved plain bands (and engraved, and stone) to check out if you ever feel like adding a band and don’t want to rock the gap. This one comes in white yellow or rose gold and is under $200.
