Hard to pick just one! One thing I do love is that he is a “mountain man.” He grew up on a homestead, completely off the grid. Obviously he left and went to college and we live in a city we love, but I love that he can do everything from build a shelter to a house, hunt and fish and cook on a wood stove or fire. He is also a mechanic. I love that he is good with fixing things because I am SO not into it. I grew up completely different in many respects. He is also very patient. He is a planner, I am a doer, and I like that we balance one another out. I am social, he is not. It creates a good security for me that I have never had.
I am a musician and he is the only non-musician I have ever had anything to do with. But he is an artist, and he is the only artist I have ever had anything to do with. I love getting creative together.

I love his kind heart under his rough exterior. Most people see my man as a tough mans man, but because I know him so well I get to see the softer side of him. It’s nice to know that if he was ever put in a tough spot he would think with his heart and not his pride everytime.

I think the number one thing for me is his kindness. How he treats people, his coworkers, his friends, family, myself of course, total strangers ,is just amazing. I know this sounds cliche but he makes me want to be a better person. for example, one time we were at the store and it was pouring down rain and we were hurrying to get into the store, we noticed an old man struggling with a a few huge, heavy looking bags of groceries, and he looks lost, like he can’t find his car, so fiance took the mans bags and helped the guy find his car and loaded his groceries into the car for him. of course when he was done he was soaking wet and shivering. It almost made me cry, he’s just so freakin sweet. And there have been a couple times where we are at the store or a restaurant and someone will give him too much change back, and he gives it back (don’t get me wrong, I know it’s the right thing to do, but I have to admit it’s total temptation for me) and he doesn’t even think twice about giving it back, it’s just automatic for him. I strive to be like him 🙂

Can I put two? Its a total toss up for me
My FH is a soldier. He has seen and done things that I can’t even imagine (Good and cool, or bad and horrible – from jumping out of a plane at night to being on the front line of an ambush attack) . So I admire his bravery. He always makes me feel safe and is very good at putting things in perspective.
The flip side is that he kills me with laughter. And not just me, but his buddies at work. He plays practical jokes on them and does things like sings his heart out to a song on the radio and change the lyrics to something hilarious
I just love him so.

Well I obviously love a lot of things about him lol but one of the things I love the most is that he loves learning. I don’t mean learning like going to school but learning on his own.
When there is something he doesn’t know about or something I don’t know about he will run online and learn everything he can about it. Or if something is broken he will learn how to fix it. No matter what it is!
I can ask him anything and he will usually find the answer. I love that about him. 🙂

YES!!! My FH used to be Special Ops and is the same way. I came here to say basically the same thing!

He is so easy going. I never thought I would actually meet a guy that’s so easy to get along with. Don’t get me wrong, he gets cranky at times, but that makes him real.

He puts up with all my weirdnesses and klutziness and laughs right along with me. For example, I chew with my mouth open most of the time because I feel like I’m suffocating if I chew certain foods with my mouth closed and breathe only through my nose (weird, I know, and I really can’t explain why I feel that way!), and he teases me good-naturedly about it but he accepts/understands the fact that I find it physically difficult to do.
I also have a habit of not paying attention to what I’m doing and knocking stuff over, breaking glasses, stepping on things, breaking my toes running into the corner of the wall, etc. and instead of getting mad that I broke our only matching set of wine glasses, he just laughed it off and even did the vacuuming for me afterwards because I had vacuumed up a centipede the night before and was afraid to touch the vacuum again knowing there was even a (hopefully) dead bug in it.
I also refuse to eat food that “looks weird” i.e. if a grape is too small or has a scar on its skin, or if a dinner roll is crooked and part of it is a little too crusty, or whatever, he’ll eat the “weird” food and give me the “normal” ones, and again laughs at me right along with me laughing at myself. Love him.

One characteristic that I just love about my Fiance is that he is the most well-rounded person that I’ve ever met. I have yet to find something that he can’t do/isn’t good at! He iis an incredible athletic, handy man, musical (plays guitar and sings), nerdy (computer IT guy), and very intelligent. I also love that he is very organized with our money and I am not. We balance each other out well! 🙂
