I think I started feeling better (as in, there would be a few hours a day that I wasn’t nauseated and there were a few extra foods that I didn’t have an aversion to) around 12 weeks. I still threw up daily until 14 weeks or so. And I’m pretty sure I was almost entirely better by 16 weeks.

howsweetitis:  mine seemed to taper off for a few days (thought I was done around 13w) and then came back full force lol. Mine started a bit late as opposed to the ladies who were pg at the same time…its started around 7-7.5w and continued until the week before my anatomy scan (at 20w) ๐Ÿ™ it was awful. The last week of it, it seemed to slow down, it didnt just stop one day. *shudder just thinking about it* lol….. The food aversions got a bit better but I didnt really eat a lof of meat for the rest of the pregnancy even after I felt better.

howsweetitis:  When did your morning sickness start? Mine started around week 10 and was the worst at week 16. I ended up vomiting about 4 times during that time. I started to feel better after week 18.

howsweetitis:  I had a love/hate with morning sickness this pregnancy too after my MC. It definitely peaked between weeks 10-12 and traveling in Costa Rica in week 11 with curvy, unpaved roads totally brought it to a whole new level. It began to taper off around 13 weeks, but I still had some trouble with food until 15/16 weeks. It resolved itself after that, though I still had a heightened gag reflex until around 20 weeks and would get sick from brushing my teeth some mornings.

ETA: I struggled once it subsided because it was my sign that the pregnancy was okay in that moment. Between it ending and when I felt consistent flutters and movement, I worried. However, that eased over time as baby kept doing great at appointments.

howsweetitis:  I think you’re right, 6-8 weeks seems about right whether it starts later in pregnancy or early on. I really thought it was never going to get better, but fortunately it did. I think you’re getting near the end tail. Hope you feel better. Have you lost any weight? Try to eat anything you can keep down. Losing weight was one of my concerns, but you’ll be fine. Now, I am doing better and gaining some. It will get better.

Mine started at 6 weeks and started tapering off at 16 weeks. It’s the worst! take your prenatals at night (or try the gummies!), try to keep something in your stomach, keep hydrated. Sour candy seemed to help a little, prescription meds helped a lot ๐Ÿ˜‰ I’ve also heard of people taking magnesium to help, but that didn’t work for me. Don’t worry if your diet isn’t super awesome right now, baby is basically an adorable little parasite and can leech all it needs from your reserves. Hang in there!

The vomiting started at 7 weeks, peaked at 11 weeks, and pretty much went away at 12 weeks, with it returning out of the blue once at 17 weeks. So with it being the worst at 11 weeks and stopping at 12, it went away kind of suddenly. The nausea got much better at around the same time but it did come and go periodically til about 20 weeks or so. So glad it finally went away!!! I was miserable during that time!

I had MS from week 6 – 23.  I currently am 25 weeks and I still take diclectin twice a day and make sure to get a lot of sleep each night and I am finally starting to feel better.  Although from what I hear MS often stops near the beginning of the 2nd trimester, so hopefully not many woman have MS as long as I did.

Mine started around week 6. It was so bad at weeks 8 and 9. They were awful. I ended up having some days off work because of it. I started feeling better at week 12 and it gradually tapered off. By week 13 or 14 I was all better. ๐Ÿ˜€

I ended up having medicine prescribed and was suffering with 24/7 extreme nausea. I never vomited once though!

howsweetitis:  my morning sickness started about 6 weeks and I felt nausea pretty much through out the day, I could barely stand meat & it would be hard to brush my teeth since Iwould always gag & scent of smell was very strong. After my 13 week mark it got better and I havent vomited since and now I’m almost 31 weeks and haven’t had morning sickness since My first trimester.

MS abruptly kicked in at 6+3 and ended just as abruptly at 10+6. It was as though a switch was flipped. It went out with a real bang.

My MS started at week 4 (rough), and escalated until about week 13.  I started to feel gradually better, and especially good by 15. I’m 16 weeks now, and feel pretty great!!

Thinking of you! MS is no joke.
