lindsayandchris09:  Mine was 12.75 at 7 DPO and the OB said it was normal. I recently had an appointment with an RE and I brought up this result, and he also told me it was normal. He said anything above 10 is good. Best of luck!

Not sure how helpful this is but generally my progesterone always tested at <1 for the cycles when I didn’t ovulate.  The cycle I was pregnant, my progesterone was at 11.1 at 14dpiui.

A level of 5 indicates ovulation, a 10 is the baseline for a “good ovulation.” Doctors usually want to see above a 15 for medicated cycles. 10.2 is definitely good for an unmediated cycle!

I just wanted to jump in to help reassure you. I’ve heard the same as the ladies above, so I think your level is perfectly fine and indicative of ovulation!

lindsayandchris09:  I completely understand your wish to find a “quick fix!”  I suppose there’s always a possibility that your progesterone levels weren’t so high in previous cycles. I only say that because I’ve had my progesterone checked 3 times since I stopped BC (10 years of BC!), and each time, my progesterone level kept climbing (15 in September, 19 in November, and 25 last week). I could be completely wrong (I’m not a medical doctor!), but I was thinking that it could have been my body adjusting to being off BC and gradually balancing out my hormones. Maybe that’s been a factor for you?

My RE told me anything 10 and over if it’s a natural cycle, 15 and higher if it’s a medicated cycle.  I definitely agree that progesterone can be different each cycle.  How’s your luteal phase looking?
