I’m a physician assistant in plastic and reconstructive microsurgery. We do so many amazing things and have patients whose lives we impact so much. Aside from the OR I work very closely with our breast patients- seeing them weekly for tissue expansion and eventually tattooing their nipple/areolar complex (so I’m also a tattoo artist- I guess?). I also do Botox and fillers. LOVE my job.

I love my job(s)!! I am a props person for national theatrical tours during the year and during the summer I am a scenic artist. I love the touring job because I get to meet new people everyday and travel to lots of new places. I also work with an amazing crew and get to drink and hang out with them every night on a tour bus! I love the adventurous part of this job. I love my scenic artist job also, I get to paint every day and draw all sorts of fun things! This summer I get to paint 9 full size portraits, which I am really looking forward to! 😀 Both of these jobs are very time consuming, I work a lot of 16 hour days, but the amazing people make it so worth it.

Can I just say I am really jealous of all of these amazing jobs?! It’s not my full time job (I work in advertising which I hate), but on the side, I am a licensed Hairstylist and Makeup Artist, mainly for weddings, and I absolutely LOVE doing Makeup.

My dream is to either work professionally, full time with Makeup, or work in fundraising for the Humane Society.

I do not enjoy my current job (working as a casual preschool teacher over a heap of child care centres) I absoultly adored my last job. I was a preschool teacher in a 0-2 age group. It was hard work but it was so enjoyable and fulfilling. Even when i was on holidays and weekends i would think of my babies a lot and some weekends i would miss work! hoping to find a job i love as much as that one again once i finish my degree.

lolot: Wow… I saw your pics and got SO SO jealous! I feel like that is essentially what I am supposed to be doing with my life, but sadly I am not. Anyways, I’m excited for you and all of the things you must get to experience as a wildlife biologist! You look so happy in the picture with the hawk!

MinnieMouse91: Haha, thanks!! I actually went to school for it! I had a hard time breaking into the field after school, I worked at Target for a little while, but my patience paid off!

I drive one of these. It’s like riding a mechanical bull sideways down a slip n’ slide.

It’s not an exciting job, but I think it’s mostly fun. I’m a nanny for 2 school age boys, and when they have school breaks I get to take them to the water park, laser tag, the movies, trampolines, etc. Working with kids is much more fun than my first “adult” job- an administrative assistant. That bored me so much!

I’m a special education preschool teacher. Sure, there are hard days, but I always have fun 🙂
