I bought a Snoogle the other day because I’ve been having trouble sleeping and last night my husband was talking to me about how I sleep on it and then I began wondering if others sleep on it differently. I think I sleep on it the wrong way around, but I want to see what others do before I say how I do.
Vote with the position you’re in most often, then with how often you change it up.

My Snoogle doesn’t really change position on our bed at all – it’s just me that moves around. I generally fall asleep on my right side with legs wrapped around the solid side piece, and arms wrapped around it. Then when I get up for my nightly pee, when I come back to bed I switch side to my left, and cuddle it the same way. Basically every time I wake up or get up, I switch sides. I don’t think there’s any right or wrong way to use it, just do what feels most comfortable to you. However I sleep on it, I like whatever side is on my front tight against me, and I let the back be a bit looser. I also flip it over every time I wash the cover sheet, so I’m not wearing grooves into it, so I’ve had my head at both the more hooked end and the less hooked end.

Do you like your Snoogle? I was looking at buying one as well, but then I thought this one might be better, but I’m not sure:

I had a Boppy Body pillow while I was pregnant. I slept with my belly resting on the middle of it, so back to the opening (though the boppy isn’t quite as encompassing as the snoogle).
I tossed and turned several times a night <aka heaved my wide berth from one side to the other, with great effort and huffing> and sometimes I would roll with the pillow between my legs & take it with me, other times I surrounded myself with pillows all around so I wouldn’t wake up flat on my back (which I ended up doing very often anyway).

I toss and turn a lot so I start out facing the opening with the less hooked end between my legs. I switch to facing the long side and wrap my legs around that side In the middle of the night, and I usually switch back to the way I started at some point. I don’t think there’s a wrong way, the back package said it can be done 9 different ways or something. When I wake up I twirl it in a ball and sit propped up leaning on it to watch tv. It took me a week or so to get used to it, but now I can’t live without it!

That one seems like a lot of pillow!! It does look comfy though, one of the things I love about the snoogle is feeling cocooned. I would just be concerned with the amount of bed space, plus no potential snuggling with DH.

I love the support of my Snoogle. It’s super comfy. Like @NonParloItaliano:
, I feel like the one you’re looking at would take up a lot more bed space and would impede snuggling more (the snuggling is my biggest/only problem with my Snoogle). If you guys have a lot of space in your bed though and aren’t snugglers, then it might be a good one for you. I got my Snoogle second hand online or else I probably wouldn’t have gotten anything because they’re all so expensive.
One of the January ladies has a Boppy too and she likes it more than her Snoogle. I like my back resting against the long part of the Snoogle though, so a Boppy probably wouldn’t work as well for me. It definitely looks easier to move though and to get in and out of.
I haven’t mastered tossing and turning in it yet, but I used to toss and turn a lot when I could move. I may be like that later. 🙂
My Snoogle doesn’t change position on the bed either, I put the long part on the edge of the bed and like to face the opening, which means I face right (I prefer left side sleeping though, so we might switch sides of the bed). I put my head on the less hooked end, but have been wondering if the big hook will get in the way of my belly later. I think I switch it up during the night sometimes though because this morning I woke up spooning the long side.
