I had a very discouraging night yesterday when I went out bra shopping. I went to walmart first (because I’m cheap) and couldn’t find a thing even close to my size. (Later I read online that they keep there 32A size in the kids/teens section. What a lovely ego boost that was).
I went to Victoria Secret but they were having a huge sale on bras and didn’t have anything left in my size in the color I wanted. (I just wanted plain beige so it can be hidden under light colored tops).
so then I went to a few more places and tried on many different kinds. I found one bra that I absolutely LOVED. The cups fit nice, it was comfortable… problem was it only came in 34A and the straps were not adjustable. So it didn’t fit. I seriously considered buying it and trying to alter it myself though, that’s how much I wanted it. I came home to try to find it online and 34A was the smallest size they carry.
So I thought I’d see if I could find some suggestions here. I don’t really want a pushup bra – they don’t really work for me. 32A is almost too big.. yeah, I’m that small.
Oh, and because it was so hard to find something last night, I’m willing to pay a little more for a bra that I’m happy with.

I was a 32A until recently… thank you weight gain, 32B boobs! I really like Victoria Secret Bombshell Bra. I wore the 32B in it, because there’s SO MUCH PADDING, you almost need to. It is a push-up, but it actually works on small breasts.

MrsCallalily: Walmart or k-mart if you are fortunate. It is not guaranteed. I am not sure if you will find size A. I only usually see B.

I love aerie bras more than any brand. Their Brooke bra makes my small boobs look bomb. I don’t have an A cup, but I would still recommend you try it! I actually just ordered some new bras from them because they have 40% off their clearance. I got some for $17-23 each
also if you try them order a cup size up because of the padding

I have a lot of bras from H&M actually. They fit wonderfully and are pretty decently priced.

I took my niece bra shopping for her first bra and I took her to Marshalls- they had an ok selection. We liked the prices and they had some really pretty ones. Good luck!

I could have written this last weekend (and actually considered it)! I spent Saturday searching for a beige bra in my size (34A usually) that wasn’t a push up. I ended up getting one that was only okay from the Juniors section at Kohls so you might be able to find something there. I’m sticking around for other suggestions!

MrsCallalily: Try the Little Bra Company (google). VS bras used to never fit right on me, now I swear by this brand and wear nothing else. It’s pricey at $50+ for each bra but I think it’s worth it.

i’m a 32A also…and sometimes i can’t even fill that up, lol. and yeah, i almost always have to go to the girls/juniors department, but i don’t care. it’s way cheaper! 2 bras for $10? i’ll take it! i usually go to walmart. i also like to check out tjmaxx/marshalls. it’s kind of hit or miss, but i’ve gotten some pretty ones there.

I like victorias secret lace bralettes. They don’t have any padding, but they are lightly lined. I think they just come in XS, S, M, etc, but the XS is quite tiny and may be a good fit around the ribs for you!

Aerie and victoria secret are the best. victoria secret has bras that are always 2/$50 (in canada).. That’s what I buy and they are such good bras. I’m not a 32A though… Have you been sized before? if not I highly reccommend it.

Thank you everyone, I will check out some of these suggestions.
MackenzieRaelin: No I haven’t but I’m extremely conservative and I don’t think I could do it. It was hard enough being sized for my wedding dress!

MrsCallalily: Welcome to the club! It is amazing how few shops actually stock bras for us smaller girls! Many brands or lines do not actually make bras in our sizes!
Here in UK I shopped on a website
Maybe you have something likethat in the US? It might be worth checking it out for the styles anyway.
Good news that there are plenty brands that make AA or even AAA bras. Bad news they are hard to find on the high street.
One of the best fits I had was Playtex ( I think it is an american brand) they make bras in half sizes – I used to have 32 nA ( nearly A!) LOL
I had a Gossard and a Wonderbra but gave them to a friend as these did not fit me well – what fits me best is plunge style – balconette fits my friend 100% but I cant wear those. So you need to figure out what sort of style you are comfy with.
Also you might want to try on a 30A or even a 30B – sometimes you can get away with lowering the band size and upping the cup.
My best bra I bought in a sale rack and its a no name brand. Had it for 5 years it really needs replacing, so I might have to start looking soon too!
Oh and if you really want a BOOST I recommend ‘After Eden’ I have a gel filled bra in 32AA that upps my size by 2-3 sizes!! I never wear it though cos it does not feel like me. LOL
ETA TKMAXX sometimes has fantastic bargain on small sizes, that’s where I got my After eden gel and mu Sportsbra by nike in 32A ( for £1!)
