I just got back from CSA yesterday. The only place they have a dress code is in two of their restaurants and as long as you don’t wear jeans or flip flops you’re fine. Men have to wear pants and closed toe shoes. Which is a total joke because nothing about those restaurants or the entire resort is five star. Sorry about my negativity, I am not a fan at all of CSA.  Will never be going back to a Couples Resort. Other than that there’s really no dress code. Hope that helps.

I guess I amfortunate that I have traveled extensively at mostly five star resorts. CSA is not five star at all, more like a three star- maybe.  The beach is beautiful. The employees seem very unhappy, something about that resort is not right – maybe they are going through new management? The fitness instructor for one of our classes looked at us and said “oh, I was hoping no one would show up” and ended the class after 12 minutes.  They pride themselves on having a 10 acre state of the art  fitness facility, one out of the five treadmills worked. The concierges were useless and rude, FH paid for roses and champagne at check in which never showed up.  We asked to just cancel it, the moment was gone, they accused us of making up the order even though we showed them the confirmation email they sent. Really, we’re going to go to that length to rip them off for $50? You have to do everything yourself if you want something, we figured that out after two days – get your own coffee, the flag system on the beach is a joke, find your own towels, find your own silverware, it’s a self help or perish place. I don’t need five star but if they are advertising themselves as luxury and five star they should deliver just that. If I had prepared myself for three star it would’ve been ok. Have been toJamaica three times in the past few years and this was the worst. But, some other guests who had been to their other properties agreed that something was really off at this one.

We did Couples Tower Isle and sundresses or white capris were perfect.  The only thing that we were restricted from was one restaurant that Darling Husband didn’t have the right attire for (no jeans or shorts or flip flops).

I wore sundresses the whole time 🙂

Plus we didnt feel we were missing much.  The other restaurant that had reservations was much prettier so we got to go to that one.
