So I have a necklace from Fiance that I wear every day. It is a lovely dark purple amethyst set in silver. I love it. But it clashes with pretty much my entire wardrobe. So when I get my ring I want a clear stone. It made me wonder ladies with gemstone rings… does your ring look good with your current wardrobe? I was just thinking that a lot of ladies who picked gemstones probably did so for the color and I was wondering if that color showed up in the rest of you style.

I have a blue topaz. My wardrobe consists mostly of blue tops lol so it goes fine. Also its so small it doesnt even matter when it comes to clashing.

Mine is a light pink. I wear a bright blue work shirt everyday. They dont match at all, but I never really pay attention.

I have a london blue topaz and I think a ring and necklace might look different in terms of clashing simply because your necklace and top is more visible. I’m not very conscious of it clashing e.g. if you have black hair and you still can wear mostly black clothes or with blonde hair and you can wear yellow sundresses. Hope that helps!

My ring is an emerald and I selected it because it’s what I’ve wanted since I was a little girl. Sometimes my wardrobe matches and sometimes it contrasts. I’ve never felt like my ring clashes.

I have a blue sapphire as my centerstone, with some small white sapphires on the side. It doesn’t go with my scrubs that I wear to work, then it doesn’t go with some of the outfits I wear, but I don’t care personally.
I am maid of honor in october and plan on wearing it with a plum dress. I’m sure it will clash, but it’s my ring, from my Fiance so I will wear it with pride! 🙂

Engagement rings automatically match everything. It’s a rule.

I have a garnet, and I voted that it matches my wardrobe because I don’t give a flying fig whether it does or not 🙂 I wear mostly jewel tones (dark red, teal, purple, etc.) and I think my dark red garnet goes nicely with the vast majority of my clothing.
