I love my halo cause it adds extra sparkle and draws attention to the center stone 😀

i love my double halo because it adds more finger coverage to my largeish finger (7.5) and adds extra sparkle. & they make my ring interesting ( i think at least) & i often hear that my completely round double halo is unique…i guess because many brides have cushion halos?

I simply think it adds something extra to the ring. Never thought about it much futher than that. I know some people say it makes the stone bigger, but that is clearly not the case for my ring because it is an emerald cut shape and rounds surrounding so I dont think they blend into the main stone.

I wanted a halo because I have an emerald cut. I love emerald cuts but they don’t sparkle as much so the halo adds a little extra sparkle. Also I feel like halos give emerald cut diamonds a vintage look.

Why halo? Because DIAMONDS!!! But seriously I just like that they make my ring more sparkly.

daisybee90:  I love your answer! That’s my response as well. ..because……diamonds! That’s pretty much it.  I love all the sparkle!  I love blingy rings.  Heres my round double halo ring and my cushion halo with a round center diamond.

I never in my ring dreams wanted a halo ring at all, I wanted simple and solitaire but when I put this on, i knew it was the one.

I chose a halo because it gives a little extra sparkle and like others have said draws attention to the centre stone. Solitaires are just a little too plain for my taste.

I didn’t pick out my ring, Darling Husband did, but I’m very happy he went with a halo. It just makes the center stone a tad more interesting! Mine is a very small halo, so it just lightly accents it!

I liked halo because it helps refracting even more light into my main stone. It frames the stone nicely. I never thought I would want a round stone, I really liked different shapes… so having a cushion shaped halo with an airline around my centre stone is a great way of ensuring I got a fun shape and still got to have a hearts and arrows cut.
