I fell in love with this Tacori setting and I love the sparkle in the diamonds that I don’t get from the garnet!

I didn’t want a halo to make the center stone look bigger… I just think they’re beautiful! They add a little detail and umph to the ring. My husband did a great job picking mine out!

Someone recently told me that since my halo is really tight-set and small, that from far away it looks like I just have a huge stone, which isn’t what we were going for, but we’ll take it.

Love my ring as much as I love my man!

They make me think of a frame around a painting. I chose mine because I loved the look and vintage feel, and the extra bling factor makes me happy!

because i saw a picture online and liked it, lol. i had never really given much thought to engagement rings- i just always said i wanted a solitaire- simple, classic, timeless. then i came across a picture of my rings online- totally by chance- and i fell in love with it. i didn’t know if halos were “trendy” or that they supposedly made the diamond look bigger, all i knew was that i loved it.

I wanted a cushion cut center stone, and a ring with a lot of sparkle and bling that also has intricate detailing visible from every side. I tried on many different rings and the one that had everything I was looking for happened to have a halo. My center stone is set higher than the halo, so it’s not about trying to pass it off as larger than it is. It’s pretty obviously a halo, but it sure does up the bling factor and I love it!

I love the vintage look, and definitely no regret here!

I’d like to own a different style someday though.

Sorry about the mark! An Etsy seller stole my ring photo once, and used it as his store photo!

elephantear:  I had the chance to design a new ring for our anniversary and I kept going back to the same style of ring for inspiration…..halo with a vintage feel…for me, I just liked the way it looked…😊

I’m not engaged yet but I love the look of halos and the added sparkle is a plus!  I also like that where I live halos are not very prevalent. I feel like the norm here is 3 stone rings or solitaires, so if I get a halo I will feel like my ring is unique.  The only 2 people I know with halos live in different states, NY & NC.

ScubaSiren:  your halo ering is unique and I think it’s stunning.  If you don’t mind telling me, who is the designer and what style is it?  I have an champagne diamond that I think would look awesome in that setting.

I just liked the way they added more sparkle. Also, solitaires are just to plain for my tastes. Yeah, they give more finger coverage but I’ve never thought they make the center stone look bigger.

I have a double halo because I wanted color and it ler me have layers of color. For me it makes my sum what large ring seem dainty.
