I think my engagement band is 0.25 ct, not sure what the enhancement band is. I’m going to get another enhancement band in the future for the other side. My ring needs cleaning!  ♡LOVE THIS POST! ♡

My original ering was .08 ! It is now in a pendant but will be reset in a vintage  heirloom setting soon

My upgraded stone (15th anniv) is .2. I do not know about the diamond bands tho – one was off ebay I bought for our 16th anniv cuz I was tired of the point of the heart jabbing my finger all those years 🙂 and the other is part of my aunt’s wedding set she left to me

My centre stone is a 0.14 but the tcw is 0.36. I have a 5.75/L sized finger and I think it is a perfect sized diamond for my finger 🙂 xx

0.37 ct center stone and 0.6 tcw on size 4.5 finger 🙂 I think it looks like the perfect size for my hand! Center stone came from his grandma’s engagement ring.

I got so excited to see this post! =) I know it’s quite a bit late but wanted to show mine anyways. My ring is a 1/3 ct round solitare which sits rather high up, so much, that the diamond looks like it’s floating.  I love the look as well as the fact that the way it sits allows a large amount of light in the diamond so it constantly sparkles. My ring size is a 5 so the third carat fits very well. My fiancé and I just became engaged 12-22-14 after being together since Christmas day,  2004 =) I’m still on cloud 9.

DMintun:  Gorgeous ring, I like the setting.

Mine is also very high set. It’s only about 0.20 but an IF clarity stone so it sparkles a lot. If I had had a say I would have chosen a far more classic setting (this took some getting used to) and a slightly bigger stone  but am grateful for what I have got.

peonypanic:  Did you buy your setting in Italy? I recognize the brand, it’s Italian. I like it, it makes your stone look bigger.

framarianna:  yes, i live in Italy. It does make the stone look bigger I agree. As you’ll know people don’t go for huge stones here, on the whole!

I don’t know the specs on the center stone but I know the total weight is .75ct on my size 4 1/2. I always told my Fiance not to spend a crazy amount of money on my ring because it gives me anxiety putting 5k into a piece of jewelry lol. He said he went in with a $3,000 budget but ended up spending around $1,700 because he loved this ring the most and didn’t find the bigger stones/more expensive ring selection as pretty. Excuse my hideous nails… this was day of proposal and was not prepared!
