I really love this thread. Just goes to show that it DOES NOT MATTER what size the diamond is, it can still be incredibly beautiful.
Love that I can post on this thread 🙂 meet my .23 solitaire and my pave wedding band I can’t wait to pair with it next year. (Please excuse the cut knuckle)
Mine is a half carat black diamond solitaire in white gold. I didn’t want Fiance to spend a lot of money on my ring. The small band below it will be my wedding band. It’s a full round band in palladium whtie gold. I love simple sets.
Here is the one
So, I don’t qualify in the ladies part, but this is one I picked out for my girlfriend(hopefully future fiance) .49 center stone on a 5 1/2 size ring. I have been pretty anxious, the whole thing will be a surprise!
This is mine! 18k white gold, .50tcw which I feel is perfect for my size 4 finger : )
I’m trying to understand how/why these “small” rings look so big. Is it just the picture?
This is my .44 ct estate diamond in it’s temp setting! Please excuse my nail polish and poor quality photo, apparently this photo wont display the serious shine and sparkes in my ring..
I’m waiting to have my new setting (a simple plain shank halo), and even then the ctw will be less than .75! Some of the rings I see on here are honestly not my taste (too big..), and the price tag that goes along with those is something Fiance an I are NOT interested in. We would rather invest in our future (we own 2 homes and are paying for most of the wedding ourselves), than to invest in a ring. By the way, all the rings on this threat are absolutely beautiful!
Here is my petite diamond ring. I couldn’t tell you anything about it except that it was purchased in a tiny town in Poland where we have been living for the last 8 months and it is a size 4. It took me a couple weeks to fall in love with it but now I would never dream of upgrading it. It’s absolutely perfect!
