Personally I think ALL size rings are beautiful but I didn’t want anything over 1/3 carat and tha’ts what I got. I recently had it reset with some diamonds from my promise ring since I tend not to wear that ring anymore:

Okay, I caved to the temptation.  All of your rings are just so pretty!!

Here is my original e-ring.  I may have to wear her now, I hadn’t realized that I miss her! She’s .25 ct:

This is my little star, and the wedding band I hope to pair it with!

This is my ring! I think it’s .51 ct. The stone is from my grandmother’s ring and we had it reset into a white gold ring. I love the compass set double prongs; it helps give a little oomph to the smaller stone. there is also a twisting detail when you look from the side, but I don’t have a pic from that angle. I really love this thread!

I love this thread! So many lovely rings ladies : )

I personally love love love dainty jewelry!

My ering is untraditional, not only is it yellow gold, it has seven small diamonds forming a flower instead of it having one centerstone. I think it’s about 0,26 ct. It sparkles like crazy and I love it! Here it is with my also very dainty and thin plain band:

Mine is approx 0.25 carat, on a 1mm 14k white gold twisted band.  I had a 0.50 diamond that I returned as I felt it was too big!  🙂

Unsure about how to flip it… sorry! Mine has a 0.4 center emerald cut diamond and the side emeralds are about 0.15 each. It’s perfect for me!

@sherryberry:  Thank you so much. I get a lot of different reactions but I’m very happy with it. I like that my husband chose such an elegant ring, he says that the delicate design sort of reminded him of me when looking at rings which I think is cute.

Also the several smaller diamonds is a much more affordable alternative to one larger stone and still takes up some space on the finger, not to mention the added sparkle of more diamonds! We were both students when he proposed and like several bees on this thread I didn’t want him to spend a fortune on the ring. I might upgrade the ring one day or maybe get a new e-ring for an anniversary gift but I still don’t want a big diamond, would much rather have a gemstone ring or something else I can wear everyday.

Your ring is beautiful by the way, I just love the yellow gold with diamonds and I want that band too now! lol. : ) I’ve never seen one like that, it’s very unique.
