@Mrs.danish:  Finally – a picture of my mom’s ring for you! She gave it to me several years ago and I absolutely adore it. It is very similar to yours, which I also love!

(not my hand, it’s the seller’s photo, I need it to be resized to fit my wee size 4 finger!)

Mine is vintage. It’s 0.25 tcw, and it means so much to me because it’s extremely similar to my great-grandmother’s ring, which has been passed down to my mom but I can never wear it because it’s too delicate and flimsy and worn down… she only wears it once in a while. If I can’t wear the actual antique, I’ll wear the vintage “twin” that’s still in good condition! ๐Ÿ™‚

wow, some lovely rings ladies. Some settings help to make stones appear larger then they are, my ring has a total or 1-1.2 carats, I can’t remember for sure, still have not managed to get a pic of it up anywhere yet though, its got 14 tiny band diamonds and I belive the jeweler said it was .8 carat centre stone. Some of your stones look bigger though, ha ha its all in the setting.

My fiance picked mind out all by himself and I love it! At first I found myself thinking it was too small because all you ever see are giant 2ct rings. But the longer I had it one the more I love it! And the cuts of the stones are super sparkly which makes me love it even more.

It is a 3 stone 1/2ct from Kays.

Here’s my .38 solitaire on a size 4.5 finger.  From what I can tell, I get about 32% finger coverage with it (according to the chart), which is equivalent to a .7-ish on a size 7 finger?  I don’t know, I just really like it.

Some settings just work best with the right sized diamond. I wouldn’t change mine for the world. A bigger diamond wouldn’t fit and a smaller one would be overwhelmed by the setting. I think the beauty behind most diamonds is in it’s proportion not always the carat weight. And of course the meaning behind it! Mine is a 0.39 and I love it!

Mine is .5 ct solitare. We were originally looking at larger ring, 1ct – 1.5ct but they all looked funny on my hand, we found this little baby together after a lovely Sunday brunch and she looks perfect on my hand. ๐Ÿ™‚

(This is a photo I took while trying on wedding bands, I’m about 90% this is the wedding band I’ll choose, and again – its much less blingy that what I originally had in mind! It just LOOKS and FEELS right though ๐Ÿ™‚ )

I should probably add, my fingers are an ‘O’ which I THINK translates to an 8 or 9 US ring size?
