I have heard people say that they grow to love their smaller solitaires over time, and it’s true! I am always pining over more complex rings to add to my collection and then fall back in love with the elegance and simplicity of this ring. Seems like my fiance knows that I always want what is most true to my personality in the end ๐Ÿ™‚

(Mine is 1/3 too!)

@PonytailKim:  just wondering if you know the width of you’re band?  It’s pretty much exactly what I want but the band I was looking at is 2.5 mm and I’m worried that would make the diamond look a lot smaller!

Love all of these beautiful rings! I’m a waiting bee and my future e-ring is a 1/3 carat diamond solitaire from Kay. It is absolutely beautiful (yes, we picked it out together, lol!). Some people might think it is too small…but to me it is perfect. It is super sparkly and has a lovely slim white gold band. I cannot wait until my SO finally decides to propose and I get to share my sparkly!

I love this thread and I love your rings, bees!!!! Small rocks rock!

So this is my baby. 1/3ct center stone… all princesses and baguettes. Fiance knew I just love princess cut diamonds… I couldn’t have imagined a more beautiful ring. ๐Ÿ™‚

here is my pretty stand in! My marquise solitiare. It is .20 ct. I am wearing it until my ring comes in from Blue Nile. It is a .28 round brilliant solitiare in a sapphire and diamond pave band.

King_H:  I LOVE your ring! I love how your band makes an eternity symbol, so pretty. Here’s my little ring, it’s a three stone, the center is .2 and both side stones are .1, it’s vintage from the 1940s:

Let me join the club! I come from a country where you hardly ever see massive rocks. Most engagement rings are in the 0.20-0.60 points range. Nobody upgrades their ring. Every lady keeps the ring she was proposed to forever.

So here’s my little beauty. Sorry for the sideways picture and sorry it’s huge, I don’t really know how to resize it.

It’s F colour, 0.35 points, white gold setting, VS2.
